Assign Mandatory Message Approval

Updated

Overview

If you are a Sprinklr Administrator, you may assign mandatory approval for published posts by select team members. An example use case would be if a member of your team is responsible for producing content related to a regulated industry and would require the approval of the legal team before publication.

Assign Mandatory Message Approval

  1. Click Launchpad or New Tab Space Add New Tab Icon. Under Platform Modules, select All Settings within Settings.

  2. From the left pane, select General Settings and then select Users.

  3. Click on the three dots present next to the user you want to edit and then click Edit.

  4. In the Approval Section, enable the Publishing Approval Mandatory checkbox.

  5. Select Approvers and highlight a mandatory approver.  Multiple approvers may be selected by holding down the Control key while selecting multiple users.

  • While multiple approvers may be specified, a message may only be sent to a single user for approval.
  • Even if a user does not have mandatory approvals specific approvers can still be identified for the user to send approvals through.  Without specifying users, messages sent for approval will be routed to the Sprinklr-identified Account Owner.
