Global Relay Integration

Updated

Sprinklr offers robust integration capabilities with Global Relay, enabling brands to archive digital communications for compliance, governance, and audit purposes. This integration supports both API-based and SMTP-based archival mechanisms.

Key use cases of the Sprinklr and Global Relay integration include:

  • Archiving customer interactions for regulated industries such as finance and healthcare

  • Ensuring compliance with data retention and audit policies

  • Real-time and batch archival of digital communications

  • Metadata-rich email records for legal and compliance teams

Sprinklr supports two primary methods to archive messages to Global Relay:

  • Event Feed API Integration

  • SMTP-based Email Archival via Webhooks

Event Feed API Integration

Sprinklr connects directly with Global Relay’s Event Feed API, enabling real-time archival of messages in a structured email format.

Architecture Flow

  • Message Identification: Sprinklr uses Webhook Subscriptions to detect messages across supported entities (Inbound, Outbound, Deleted, Updated, etc.).

  • Email Transformation: Messages are converted into a compliant email format with enriched metadata.

  • API Call: Sprinklr sends the email to Global Relay via the Event Feed Endpoint.

  • Reconciliation: A Reconciliation ID is returned for each message, confirming successful ingestion.

Endpoints Utilized

  • Auth Endpoint: For secure authentication and token management.

  • Event Feed Endpoint: For real-time message ingestion.

  • Files Endpoint: For batch archival and manifest tracking.

SMTP-Based Email Archival via Webhooks

Sprinklr also supports archival via SMTP, where messages are pushed to Global Relay using a webhook mechanism.

Architecture Flow

  • Webhook Setup: Brands configure Webhook Subscriptions in Sprinklr to capture relevant events.

  • Email Formatting: Messages are transformed into emails with custom templates and metadata fields (From, To, Subject, Headers, Body).

  • SMTP Delivery: These emails are sent to Global Relay’s SMTP endpoint(Email ID) for archival.
