Integrate Canva with Sprinklr

Updated

Sprinklr and Canva integration allow users to import Canva designs into Sprinklr Digital Asset Management (DAM) as assets. Users can browse and search Canva designs inside the Sprinklr UI, preview designs, and access metadata such as expiry date, description, version, and author details without switching between platforms.

This integration eliminates manual downloads and re‑uploads, ensures metadata consistency, strengthens brand governance by preventing outdated or incorrect creatives, and makes collaboration between design, brand, and publishing teams faster and more connected.

Integrate Canva with Sprinklr

To access Canva and import designs in Sprinklr, follow these steps:

1. Click the New Page (+) icon to open the Launchpad.

2. Under Platform Modules > Integrate, click Digital Asset Management.

3. On the DAM screen, click Create Asset in the top-right corner.

4. From the asset type dropdown, select the type of asset you want to import.

Supported asset types are Photo, Video, and Document. In this example, Photo is selected.

Note: Canva designs do not have a fixed file format. The asset type you select in this step determines how the design is imported. For example, choosing Photo imports the design as an image file, while choosing Video imports it as a video.

5. In Media Uploader, go to the Canva tab.

You will be prompted to log in to Canva (if not already authenticated).

6. Click Authenticate.

You are taken to the Canva log in page.

7. Click Allow to grant Sprinklr the required permissions.

After a successful login, you are redirected back to Sprinklr. Canva designs are imported into Sprinklr and displayed under the Canva tab.

8. Select the desired media and click Add.

9. On the Create Asset screen, enter the required details such as name, description, and campaigns.

10. Click Save to store the asset in the DAM.

The asset is now available across Sprinklr and can be used wherever needed.

Important Behaviors and Considerations

These are key points to note when using the Canva integration:

Multi‑Page Design Support

A single Canva design can contain multiple pages. Each selected page is imported as a separate asset in Sprinklr, ensuring that multi‑page designs are preserved and managed correctly.

Media Export Format

In Sprinklr, while importing, you select an asset type (Photo, Video, or Document). The chosen asset type determines the export format. For example, if you select Photo, the Canva design is exported as an image file. When the design contains multiple pages, each page is exported as a separate image.

The same designs are available across all three asset types. Selecting Photo shows the designs in image format in the Canva tab, while selecting Video shows the designs in video format.
