Right to Rectify Cases

The Right to Rectify Cases section of Privacy Cloud was created to comply with a Data Subject's right of Access and Rectification of their data as defined under GDPR.
Navigate to Right Rectify Cases
- Click Launchpad
or click New Tab . Navigate to Platform Modules. Under Love > Secure your customer data, select Right to Recify Cases.

- Click Create New Right to Rectify Case in the top right corner. The mandatory fields that must be applied are within the first section, there are some optional fields beyond that.
- Once you've entered data into the necessary fields, click Create Case.

Channel Name | Select the source from which the Data Subject's details exist within Sprinklr (ex. Twitter) |
Profile Identifier | The numeric ID or handle. For channels like Twitter or Instagram where handles exist, you can use the handles. If using an email address here, enter the email as is (ex. user@sprinklr.com) For example, to get all the data for the Sprinklr profile on Twitter (twitter.com/sprinklr), you can use sprinklr or 75263523 here. (75263523 is the numeric ID for the Sprinklr profile on Twitter, which can be found on this site.) |

1. The first Task is the Right to Access Case Approval. Once this Task is assigned, approved and the status is updated to Complete, the system will search for and locate the Data Subject's profile information. Selecting Refresh will then show the next Task.
2. The next Task is to Please do the necessary modifications. This is your opportunity to rectify the Data Subject's personal information. You May select the person's name above the Task to see their User Details.
3. From here, you may make updates to any of the information listed within Sprinklr, such as any applied Custom Fields. You're unable to make updates to the user's information outside of Sprinklr (for example, their native Twitter profile).
4. Once this has been Completed, update the Task to Complete. After this, you may choose to update the Case's Status and/or Archive it, among other Case actions which can be found by hovering over the Options Icon to the left of each Case.
