Protected Material Guardrail
Updated
The Protected Material Detection guardrail identifies content in model outputs that may contain copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise legally protected material. This guardrail helps ensure that generated content complies with intellectual property and legal requirements.
When protected material is detected, the system can block the output and trigger a fallback response based on your configuration.
Note: Protected Material is a Standard Guardrail. You cannot create or delete it, but you can edit its configuration as needed.
This guardrail provides an additional layer of compliance and safeguards against unintentional use of legally protected content.
