Use Multiple Values in Brand Compliance Conditions

Updated

A Compliance in the Creative Management App (CMA) defines the criteria used to score assets against brand requirements. A Compliance contains:

  • A Compliance Name

  • One or more If criteria that determine which assets are evaluated

  • One or more Then rows that define the conditions and weights used for evaluation

Each Then row consists of a condition, an operator, a value, and a weight.

For eligible conditions, you can select multiple values in a Then row and reuse the same condition across multiple Then rows. When you reuse a condition, values already selected in one row become unavailable in other rows within the same Compliance. This helps you create more flexible compliance criteria while preventing duplicate value selection.

Before you begin

Before you create or manage brands in CMA, ensure that you have the equired Brand Management permissions.

Create a Compliance with multiple values

  1. Navigate to Advertising > Creative Management. Click Brands.

  2. On the Manage Brand page, do one of the following:

    • To create a brand, click Create Brand.

    • To update an existing brand, click the Options icon for the brand, and then click Edit.

  3. Complete the preceding pages in the brand wizard, and then navigate to Brand Compliances. The Brand Compliances page allows you to configure compliance configurations used for brand scoring.

  4. Select the applicable entity, such as Media Asset or Outbound Message.

  5. Click + Compliance to create a new Compliance. To update an existing Compliance, expand the Compliance hat you want to edit.

  6. In Compliance Name, enter a name for the Compliance.

  7. Under If, select the required values in the following fields:

    • Select Field

    • Select Operator

    • Select Value

These criteria determine which assets the Compliance applies to. Supported If criteria include values such as Campaign, Clients, Status, Type, Tags, Source, and Author.

To add another If criterion, click the Add icon and select the appropriate logcal operator.

  8. Under Then, click Select Condition and select the condition that you want to evaluate. Multi-value selection is available for eligible conditions that provide a predefined set of values, such as Brand Fonts, Brand Colors, Brand Values, and Asset Tag Models.

  9. Click Select Operator and select the appropriate operator.

  10. Click Select value and select one or more values. Selected values appear as chips in the value selector. Eligible conditions also support search.

  11. In Weight %, enter the weight assigned to the condition. Each Then rowrequires a weight. The combined weight across all Then rows cannot exceed 100.

  12. To add another Then row for the same condition, click the Add icon.

  13. In the new Then row, select the same condition.

  14. Select the operator and then select one or more available values. Values selected for the same condition in another Then row are unavailable for selection.

Example: If one Brand Color row contains Blue and Red, another Brand Color row can use Green or Yellow, but not Blue or Red.

If all available values for a condition are already used, you cannot select additional values for that condition in the current Compliance.

  15. Enter a value in Weight %.

  16. Add additional Then rows as required.

  17. Review the Compliance and verify that:

    • Each If criterion contains a field, operator, and value.

    • Each Then row contains a condition, operator, value, and weight.

    • The same value is not used in multiple rows for the same condition.

    • The combined weight does not exceed 100.

A Then row must contain a condition, operator, value, and weight before you can save the Compliance.

  18. Save the brand configuration.

  19. Verify that the Compliance displays the expected Then rows, values, and weight distribution.

How multiple values and Then rows are evaluated

Multiple values in a Then row

When you select multiple values in the same Then row, Sprinklr evaluates them using OR logic. The row is satisfied when the asset matches any selected value.

Example

Condition

Values

Brand Font

Helvetic, Gotham, Futura

The row is satisfied when the asset contains Helvetica, Gotham, or Futura.

Multiple Then rows

Each Then row is evaluated independently. You can reuse thesame condition in multiple rows to evaluate different value groups.

Example

Then row

Condition

Value

1

Brand Color

Blue

2

Brand Color

Grey

In this example, each row evaluates a different Brand Color value. Values already used in one row cannot be reused in another row for the same condition.

Limitations

You cannot select the same value in multiple Then rows for the same condition within a Compliance.
