Scheduled Export CFM

The Scheduled Exports feature in CFM Analytics allows you to automate dashboard exports from your custom dashboards. You can set up recurring deliveries of reports in multiple formats, such as PDF, Excel, PNG, PPT, or CSV, so stakeholders receive insights at regular intervals without any manual effort from you.
You can configure export schedules, choose recipients, and apply filters directly within your CFM Custom Dashboards, ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

This feature improves the consistency and timeliness of report delivery, reduces repetitive manual tasks for analysts, and supports multi‑format exports with integration options such as FTP, SFTP, and S3, ensuring reports are delivered efficiently and in the formats your workflows require.
Prerequisites
You would need the Reporting, Export Dashboard permission to create and manage exports. You also need View Response and Analytics permissions to access dashboards and metrics.
Export Dashboard
Go to the Customer Feedback Management Custom Dashboard, then click the Settings icon.
Click Scheduled Exports. This opens the Scheduled Exports Record Manager (RM).

Click + Add Scheduled Export and configure the section:

Dashboard Details: Select the CFM dashboard to export.
Date Range: Choose a date range or use Last X Days presets.
Filters: Apply dashboard filters or use the “Apply new set of filters” option.
Note: Bucketed filters are not present here right now.
Select dashboard sections you wish to include.
Select the default section that you would see first.

Go to How to Export section and fill in the details:
Export Type: Choose at least one format — PDF, Excel, PNG, PPT, or CSV.
Layout Option: For PDF exports, choose Portrait or Landscape.
File Name / Cover Title: Define the report name as it appears on the cover page.
Storage Option:
Default: Sends export email.
External Storage: Store in FTP/SFTP/S3 (requires configuration).

Go to When to Export (schedule) section and fill in the details:
Tags: Assign tags to categorize exports.
Schedule Frequency: Immediate, Hourly, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
Recipients: Add users, user groups, or email IDs.
Custom Email Content: Add subject, footer note, and message body.
End Date: Define the end date for the schedule.

Scheduled Exports Record Manager Layout
The Report Manager displays all scheduled exports created within CFM Custom Dashboards, showing every export configured for dashboards in the same environment.
Column Name | Description |
Status | Indicates whether scheduled exports are currently active or inactive. |
Export Name | Captured the name of the export. |
Dashboard | Records the dashboard's name. |
Owner | Documents the name of the owner responsible for its creation. |
Scheduled Time | Captures the time when the export was scheduled. |
Tags | Indicates any tags to the export. |
Created Time | Records the time at which the export was generated. |
Modified Time | Records the time at which the export was altered. |
Recepient User Groups | Contains information regarding the user group. |
Recepient Email IDs | Retain information concerning the recipient's Email ID. |

Scheduled Exports Record Actions
Each scheduled export in the Record Manager supports the following actions through the vertical ellipsis menu:
Action | Description |
Edit | Modify export configuration (schedule, filters, recipients). |
Clone | Duplicate an existing export with new settings. |
Trigger | Manually run the scheduled export immediately. |
Share | Share with users/workspaces, defining Edit or View permissions. |
Delete | Permanently remove the scheduled export. |

Key points to note
Only dashboards created in CFM Custom Dashboards are supported.
File attachments are limited to 8 MB per email; larger files are provided via ZIP download links.
