Apply Macros in the Editorial Calendar

Macros help you perform multiple actions on an entity with a single click. After you configure a macro in Settings, you can apply it to outbound content from the Editorial Calendar, Engagement Dashboards, or Production Dashboards. In the Editorial Calendar, you can apply macros to:

  • Multiple messages

  • A message

  • A campaign

  • A sub-campaign

Prerequisites

Before you begin, configure the macro that you want to apply. For more information about creating and configuring a macro, see Create a Macro.

Perform bulk actions on multiple Messages using Macros

  1. Click the New Tab icon and navigate to Sprinklr Marketing > Plan > Editorial Calendar to open the Editorial Calendar.

  2. Select the messages to which you want to apply a macro.

  3. Click the Macro icon from the Section Bar.

  4. Select the macro that you want to apply.

  5. After the macro is applied, the platform displays a success message at the bottom of the page.

Perform bulk actions on single messages using Macros

  1. Click the New Tab icon and navigate to Sprinklr Marketing > Plan > Editorial Calendar to open the Editorial Calendar.

  2. Apply the macro using one of the following options:

    • Click Macro from the pop-up menu that appears on the message.

    • Double-click the message to open the Third Pane, and then click.

  3. Select the macro that you want to apply.​

  4. After the macro is applied, the platform displays a success message at the bottom of the page.

     

Perform bulk actions on single Campaigns / Sub-Campaigns using Macros

  1. Click the New Tab icon and navigate to Sprinklr Marketing > Plan > Editorial Calendar to open the Editorial Calendar.

  2. Double-click the campaign or sub-campaign, or click View Detail to open the Third Pane.

  3. Click Macro from the third pane and apply the desired macro you want to apply. ​

  4. After the macro is applied, the platform displays a success message at the bottom of the page.
