Group Data in the Editorial Calendar
Updated
Use Group By in the Editorial Calendar to organise calendar data using selected attributes, such as creator, status, or tags. Grouping creates a structured, expandable view of related Campaigns, Sub-Campaigns, Events, and other calendar entities, making it easier to review and manage content.
You can apply up to three levels of grouping to create a hierarchical calendar view.
Applying Group By in the Editorial Calendar
In the Editorial Calendar, click the More Options (three-dot) menu in the upper-right corner.
Select Group By.

In the Group By panel:
Select a field from the Group by dropdown.
Optionally add up to two additional grouping levels using Then by.
Reorder grouping levels using the drag handle.
Remove a grouping level using the Remove (×) icon.

Click Apply. The calendar displays content grouped according to the selected fields.
Grouped sections appear as expandable and collapsible rows. You can apply up to three levels of grouping, and the available grouping fields depend on the attributes available in your Editorial Calendar. Each group header displays the number of items included in that group.
Hierarchical Grouped view in Calendar Year / Quarter view
In Year and Quarter views, the grouped view can display Campaigns, Sub-Campaigns, Events, and Paid Initiatives in a nested hierarchy, depending on the entities selected for display.
For example, if you select Campaigns, Sub-Campaigns, and Events, the grouped view displays these entities in a hierarchical structure that you can expand or collapse to review related content.
