Transfer Request Attachments to Campaigns and Sub-Campaigns
Updated
Automatically transfer attachments from a request response to the Attachments tab of a campaign or sub-campaign. This eliminates the need to download attachments from a request response and upload them manually.
You can transfer attachments when you:
Create a campaign or sub-campaign from a request response.
Associate a request response with an existing campaign or sub-campaign.
Before You Begin
Ensure that:
The request form contains one or more attachment fields.
The request response contains uploaded files.
You have the required permissions to create or edit Campaign Rules.
Configure Attachment Transfer
Click the New Tab icon. Under Collaborate, click Rule Engine.
In the upper-right corner of the Rule Engine window, click Create New Rule.
On the New Rule window, enter the required details and select Campaign from the Context dropdown.
Configure the rule details, and then click Next.
On the Rule Builder window, click Add Condition and define the conditions that determine when the rule runs.
On the appropriate condition branch, click Add Action.
Under Actions To Copy Properties From Source To Destination, configure the following fields:
In Copy Action Source, select Request.
In Copy Action Destination, select Campaign.
Select an attachment-type request custom field or response field as the source field.
Select Attachment as the destination field.
Select an operator:
Set replaces existing attachments.
Merge retains existing attachments and adds new attachments when associating a response with an existing campaign or sub-campaign.
Note: If a request form contains multiple attachment fields and you use Set for multiple mappings, attachments from all mapped fields appear in the campaign.
Click Save.
Verify the Attachment Transfer
Submit a request response that contains one or more attachments.
Open the submitted response in Request Management. Open the campaign or sub-campaign.
Create or associate a campaign or sub-campaign from the request response, and then open the associated campaign or sub-campaign.
Navigate to the Attachments tab.
Verify that the attachments from the request response appear on the Attachments tab.
Note: Transferred attachments appear as uploaded by Moderation User. The activity log also records the attachments as added by Moderation User.
Verify that you can search, sort, and filter the transferred attachments from the Attachments tab.
