How Reporting Data Is Attributed for Collaborative Posts
Updated
When a collaborative post is associated with multiple accounts, Sprinklr attributes reporting data to a single post to ensure consistent reporting across Paid Reporting, Unified Analytics (UA), and Unified Performance Analytics (UPA).
To determine which post receives reporting data, Sprinklr uses an ownership hierarchy:
A primary owner, typically the creator of the post.
A secondary owner, typically the sponsor of the post.
This hierarchy ensures that reporting data aligns with the creator's post when creator ownership information is available and aligns with the sponsor's post when it is not.
How Attribution Works
Sprinklr attributes reporting data using the following hierarchy:
If the primary owner is available, reporting data is attributed to the primary owner's post.
If the primary owner is not available, reporting data is attributed to the secondary owner's post.
Attribution Scenarios
A collaborative post is published by both a creator and a sponsoring brand:
If the creator's post is available in Sprinklr, reporting data is attributed to the creator's post.
If the creator's post is unavailable, reporting data is attributed to the sponsor's post.
