Approval Workflow Preview lets you review an approval workflow before selecting an approval path for a campaign, ad set, ad, or creative. It helps you verify the approval routing and understand who participates in each stage of the approval process.

With Approval Workflow Preview, you can:

• Review the approvers configured at each approval step.

• Identify approval paths that contain additional approvers or workflow steps.

• Open the complete workflow before selecting an approval path.

Access the Approval Workflow Preview

​When creating or editing a campaign, ad set, ad, or creative, navigate to the Approval section.

1. Select Follows an Approval Path from the Approval Type dropdown.

2. Click the Approval Path field to view the available approval paths.

3. Click the Preview icon next to an approval path.

​Review the Approval Workflow

Clicking the Preview icon opens the Approval Workflow Preview panel, which displays the workflow as a sequence of approval steps.

Each approval step can include one or more of the following approver types:

• Approval Queues

• Users

• Applications

• External Users

Review the workflow to understand who participates in each stage of the approval process before selecting the approval path.

Review Additional Approvers and Steps

The workflow preview displays a condensed view of the approval workflow. When the workflow contains additional approvers or steps, indicators appear in the preview.

• +X More indicates additional approvers within an approval step, where X represents the number of additional approvers.

• +X more step(s) indicates additional approval steps that are not displayed in the preview, where X represents the number of additional workflow steps.

View the Complete Workflow

1. In the Approval Workflow Preview panel, click View to open the complete workflow and review all approval steps and approvers.

2. Review all approval steps in the selected approval path.

3. Review all configured approvers across the workflow.
