Custom Fields Usage

Overview

This article outlines how to view the usage of custom fields across the platform. This feature enables users to easily identify where a custom field is referenced, including within process workflows, voice campaigns, business rules, guided paths, and work queues.

By providing clear visibility into these dependencies, the feature helps users:

  • Understand the potential impact of modifying or deleting a custom field

  • Quickly navigate to related configurations or workflows

  • Ensure safer and more efficient change management

Steps to Configure Entity Visibility in Custom Field

  1. Click the New Tab icon. Within the Sprinklr Service tab, click Custom Fields under Route.

  2. Click the Options icon next to the corresponding custom field.

  3. Select View Usages.

  4. The Usages pane will open on the right side.

  5. You will now see all entities where the custom field is being used.

  6. To edit the workflow of an entity where the custom field is referenced, click View Workflow.

  7. The corresponding workflow will open for editing.

Note: Currently, editing workflows is supported only for IVR and ACW.
