How to trigger a Discovery Run:

1. Open the Conversational AI Persona App and navigate to "AI Tools". Click on "Discovery Runs".

   Note: Enable the advanced modules from Additional Settings within your admin panel to access "Discovery Runs".

   ​

2. To start a new discovery run, click on "Add Discovery Run" in the top right corner and select the desired option.

3. Click + Add Discovery on the Discovery Runs screen.​

   

4. On the Create New Discovery Run screen, enter a name for your run and select the required Language. You can import relevant data from:

   • Excel File Upload: Use this to convert specific examples into clusters. A downloadable template is available for proper formatting.

   Note: To get the toggle Enable Sprinklr AI powered Discovery Run, use the following DP:

5. Configure Intent Seed Clustering Discovery: Select the granularity level of the clusters from the drop down menu:

   1. High: Creates more specific clusters with fewer messages per cluster.

   2. Low: Creates fewer clusters with more messages per cluster, offering broader coverage but less specificity.

6. You can also create seed clusters by adding examples of known intents. For example, if Account Balance Enquiry is a common intent, adding sample queries allows the AI to identify and group similar phrases automatically.

7. Start the Discovery Run: Click Start Discovery Run in the bottom right corner to initiate the process. Discovery Runs may take time to complete. Once finished, the results and detected clusters can be reviewed.

8. Monitor the Discovery Run:

   • Discovery runs may take time to complete. Once they are finished, you can view the results and create intents by following this article.

     Note: If a Discovery Run lasts more than one day and is still ongoing, it is considered a failure. In this case, please open a support ticket(tickets@sprinklr.com) and start a new Discovery Run.

Advanced Configuration 

Intent Cluster Discovery Configuration: Set the level of granularity for clusters created during Discovery Run. Choose High for more specific clusters with less data per cluster, or Low for fewer clusters with more data per cluster, at the cost of specificity.To create a seed cluster, provide examples of known clusters and expected customer phrases. The AI will create a cluster based on similar phrases.
