Use Color Overrides to Customize Chart Colors in Display
Updated
Overview
Color Overrides let you customize how data segments appear in charts across Display. This feature is useful for analysts, marketing managers, and reporting users who want consistent visual storytelling—for example, applying brand colors to specific topics, accounts, or sentiments.
You can apply Color Overrides at two levels:
- Style Kit level (for consistent colors across multiple assets)
- Individual item level (Storyboard, Scene, Panel, or Widget)
Display also supports a drag-and-drop handle in design widgets, making it easier to rearrange and organize design elements while configuring color settings.
Accessing Display
Click Launchpad
or New Tab . Navigate to Sprinklr Social.
From the Analyze section, under Visualizations, click Display.

Reorder Design Elements Using Drag-and-Drop
With the enhanced Display experience, you can now use a drag-and-drop handle to rearrange design elements across widgets.
How It Works
- Hover over a design element to reveal the drag handle
- Click and drag the handle to reposition the element
- Drop it in the desired location within the widget layout
Best Practices
- Use Style Kits for consistency across multiple dashboards
- Use individual overrides for one-off adjustments
- Align color choices with your organization’s branding guidelines
- Avoid assigning too many colors to similar dimensions to maintain readability
Notes
- By default, sentiment values appear with predefined colors
- Color Overrides take precedence over default styling
- Changes apply instantly in preview
