View Activity Log for Galleries

The Activity Log for Galleries helps you track changes made to a gallery over time. It provides a clear record of

who made changes, what was changed, and when the action occurred.

This feature is useful for Gallery Admins, Content Managers, and Support Teams who need visibility into updates for auditing, troubleshooting, or collaboration.

Benefits

Using the Activity Log, you can:

  • Review the history of changes made to a gallery
  • Identify who added, removed, or updated content
  • Understand recent updates during team collaboration
  • Investigate issues by tracing specific actions

Accessing the Activity Log

  1. Click Launchpad or New Tab Space Add New Tab Icon. Navigate to Sprinklr Social.

  2. From the Analyze section, under Visualizations, click Gallery.

  3. Open the desired Gallery and go to the Gallery Details view.

  4. Click the Activity Log icon located next to the user/profile icon. The Activity Log window is displayed.

1. Activity Log - Key Elements

The Activity Log displays entries with three key elements:

  • Timestamp - Shows when the action occurred (for example, Today, Yesterday, or a specific date)

  • User - Displays the name and avatar of the user who performed the action

  • Action - Describes the action that was performed (for example, updated gallery settings or added items)

Entries are shown in reverse chronological order, with the most recent actions first.

Types of Activities Tracked

Gallery-Level Actions

  • Gallery created

  • Gallery renamed

  • Gallery deleted

  • Gallery published or unpublished

  • Visibility or status changes

Content-Level Actions

  • Gallery created

  • Gallery renamed

  • Gallery deleted

  • Gallery published or unpublished

  • Visibility or status changes

Configuration Changes

  • Layout updates

  • Theme or styling changes

  • Metadata or settings updates

Additional Details in Activity Log

Each log entry may include:

  • Gallery Name - The gallery where the action occurred

  • Action Type - High-level category such as Create, Update, Publish, or Delete

  • Sub-action Details - More specific descriptions (for example, "Updated layout" or "Added 5 assets")

  • Activity Count - Indicates multiple changes grouped into one action (for example, "Updated items x5")

  • Date Grouping - Activities grouped by labels such as Today or Yesterday for easier navigation

Search Activity

Use the search bar to find specific entries by:

  • User name

  • Gallery name

  • Action type
