Getting Started with Voice AI TTS and STT

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to help you get started with Voice AI TTS (Text To Speech) and STT (Speech To Text) using AI+ Studio. You will learn about permissions to view and edit TTS and STT configuration pages, how to access and manage it.

Permissions for AI+ Studio Voice Workflows

Permissions for AI+ Studio Voice Workflows are controlled through Global Roles or Workspace Roles. Administrators can configure access levels to determine which users can view or modify voice workflows.

Accessing Permission Settings

Click Launchpad or New Tab . Under Platform Modules, select All Settings within Settings.
On the left pane, expand User Management.
Go to Global Roles or Workspace Roles.
Do one of the following:
1. Click Create Role to define a new role, or
2. Select an existing role to edit.
In the role configuration screen, under Role Permissions, search for AI+ Studio.
Locate AI+ Studio Voice Workflow under AI+ Studio.

Available Permissions

You can assign the following permissions:

View
- Users can access and view voice workflows.
- All workflow tiles are visible.
- Users can test the STT and TTS configurations.
- Users cannot make any changes or perform actions such as edit or clone.
Edit
- Users can create, modify, and clone voice workflows.
- Full access to workflow configuration is enabled.
Delete
- This permission is currently not functional and does not impact user access.

How Permissions Work

Permissions are applied at the role level, not per individual user.
Once a role is assigned, users inherit the configured permissions automatically.
Without Edit permission:
- Users cannot modify workflows.
- Clone functionality is disabled.

Key Considerations

Ensure that users who need to build or manage workflows have Edit permission.
Use View permission for stakeholders who only need visibility into workflows.

Accessing TTS and STT

Note: Ensure that the Voice module is enabled in your environment.

Follow the steps to locate and access TTS and STT.

Navigate to AI+ Studio from the Sprinklr launchpad.
Click the AI Use Cases card.
Navigate to Sprinklr Service tab.
Scroll and select STT or TTS under Voice Workflow section.
