Bulk Profile Review and Update - Admin Initiated

Updated

Overview

Bulk Profile Review and Update enables administrators to proactively manage distributed users’ social media profiles without requiring users to initiate profile changes.

Administrators can create configurations to:

  • Review profiles in bulk: Generate review tasks for selected users and accounts so that profile information can be validated against current branding, compliance, and policy requirements.

  • Update profiles in bulk: Apply changes to supported profile fields across selected users, user groups, accounts, or account groups.

Both capabilities support one-time or recurring schedules and provide administrators with control over the target audience, social channels, profile fields, workflows, and execution frequency.

These capabilities help organizations maintain profile consistency, support regulatory and compliance requirements, and keep distributed social profiles aligned with the latest branding and policy guidelines.

Note: Note: This is a Limited Availability (LA) feature, and access is controlled by a dynamic property (DP). To enable this feature in your environment, contact your Success Manager. Alternatively, submit a request to tickets@sprinklr.com.

Navigate to Profile Configurations

Before creating a Bulk Profile Review or Bulk Profile Update configuration, navigate to the Profile Configurations section in the Distributed Control Pane (DCP).

  1. Open a new tab and navigate to All Settings > Persona Preferences > Distributed Control Pane.

  2. In the DCP, you can access Homepage Configurations, Panel Configurations, and Profile Configurations.

Note: The Profile Configurations tab is visible only to users with the Bulk Profile Actions permission. This permission is required to create and manage both Bulk Profile Review and Bulk Profile Update configurations.

  3. Click Profile Configurations.

  4. Click Create Configuration in the upper-right corner.

  5. A configuration form opens. Select the appropriate configuration type based on whether you want to create a profile review or profile update configuration.

1. Bulk Profile Review

Bulk Profile Review enables administrators to proactively review profile information across distributed social accounts without waiting for individual users to make profile changes.

Administrators can configure review campaigns for selected users, user groups, accounts, or account groups. The system generates review tasks according to the configured workflow and schedule, allowing reviewers to validate profile information at the required frequency.

Bulk Profile Review can be used to:

  • Validate profile information against organizational branding guidelines.

  • Ensure required profile information is present and accurate.

  • Support regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Conduct scheduled profile audits across distributed accounts.

  • Maintain consistency across profiles managed by different users.

Configure Bulk Profile Review

When creating a configuration, complete the following fields.

1. Configuration Name and Description

Enter a Configuration Name and, optionally, a Description.

The description can help other administrators understand the purpose and scope of the review campaign.

2. Select the Audience

Define the users or accounts whose profiles should be reviewed. You can select:

  • Users or User Group: Select individual users or a user group to automatically include the social accounts owned by those users.

  • Account or Account Group: Select individual social accounts or an account group to directly specify the accounts to include.

Only Distributed accounts are considered for bulk profile review.

3. Select Channels

Select the social channels whose profiles should be reviewed.

Currently supported channels include:

  • Facebook

  • X

Note: You can select multiple supported channels in a single configuration. Each selected channel displays its corresponding profile fields, making it easier to identify which fields apply to each channel.

4. Select Profile Fields

Select the profile fields that reviewers need to validate.

You can:

  • Select individual profile fields.

  • Select Select All to include all available fields.

The available profile fields depend on the selected social channel.

5. Select a Workflow

Select the Profile Workflow that determines how review tasks are generated and processed.

Sprinklr supports the following workflow types:

  • Review Workflow: Creates review tasks for validating existing profile information.

  • Approval Workflow: Creates approval tasks for requested profile changes before they are published to the native platform.

For Bulk Profile Review, select the Review Workflow.

The selected workflow determines:

  • The type of task generated.

  • The reviewers assigned to the task.

  • How the review is completed.

6. Configure the Review Schedule

Specify when and how frequently review tasks should be generated.

7. Save the Configuration

Click Save to create the Bulk Profile Review configuration.

After the configuration is saved, it appears in the Profile Configurations manager in the DCP.

2. Bulk Profile Update

Bulk Profile Update enables administrators to apply changes to supported profile fields across multiple distributed social accounts at scale.

Unlike profile reviews, which generate tasks for users or reviewers to validate profile information, bulk profile updates apply the configured changes directly based on the selected audience, channels, profile fields, and schedule.

Bulk Profile Update can be used to:

  • Apply standardized profile information across multiple accounts.

  • Update profile fields to reflect new branding guidelines.

  • Add mandatory compliance or regulatory disclaimers.

  • Replace outdated profile content or images.

  • Make recurring profile updates without requiring action from distributed users.

Distributed users do not create these configurations. They only see the resulting changes applied to their accounts.

Bulk Profile Update configurations use the same core configuration options as Bulk Profile Review.

1. Configuration Name and Description

Enter a Configuration Name and, optionally, a Description to identify the purpose of the update configuration.
