Remove a Social Account (Distributed User)

The account deletion functionality in Distributed platform empowers end users to easily delete their own social media accounts connected to Sprinklr. This feature ensures users have full control over their data and this process ensures that all associated data is removed, maintaining user privacy over their social media profiles.

Note: To have this functionality please get in touch with your SM or your Sprinklr Admin.

Use cases

  • As a user, I will have full control over my personal information. Removing the account ensures that data can no longer be accessible by others.

  • As a user, I can delete any unused or unnecessary social media accounts, helping to declutter my profile and streamline my online presence.

  • I can delete my accounts to prevent unauthorized access, maintain my privacy, and protect my data.

Permissions Required to Delete an Account

Need to give the below ‘Account’ permissions to the required Distributed user(s) through a new/existing global or workspace role depending upon the workflow.

How to Use this Capability

1. Click on ‘Profile & Settings’ at the bottom of the Menu bar to the left.

2. Select the Accounts tab and expand the respective social channel.

3. Move to the account to be deleted and click on the three dots beside it.

4. Click ‘Delete account’.

5. A snack bar notification appears after the account has been deleted.

Note: This option is only available for Owned accounts, not shared accounts.
