Cancel Appointment

The Cancel Appointment Node enables workflows to automate appointment cancellation notifications. Customers are informed promptly through Email, SMS, or WhatsApp, ensuring transparency and allowing them to take next steps such as rescheduling.
Configure Cancel Appointment Node
Name: Enter a unique name to identify the node.
Email / SMS / WhatsApp Account: Select the account used to notify customers of the cancellation.
Confirmation Asset: Choose the cancellation notification template from the Digital Asset Manager.

Additional Settings
URL Shortener: Shortens links included in cancellation messages.
Close Live Chat Conversation: When enabled, the associated Live Chat conversation is automatically closed. This action cancels both reserved and confirmed appointments. When rescheduling, the existing appointment must be canceled first.
Result
By combining the Confirmed Appointment Node and Cancel Appointment Node, Guided Workflows can fully manage the appointment lifecycle confirmation, reminders, execution, and cancellation through automated, customer‑friendly communication. This reduces no‑shows, improves customer trust, and streamlines operations.
