Review Macro Usage

The Review Usage screen enables you to analyze macro performance, review usage trends, and take actions such as marking macros as reviewed. It helps you analyze how macros are being used across your workspace, identify unused or low-value macros, and safely clean up redundant configurations.

Permission
Ensure that the user has the Review Usage permission:

If the user does not have the permission:
- The Review Usage button is disabled
- Tooltip: “You do not have permission to review macro usage.” is displayed
Accessing Review Usage page
Click Launchpad
or New Tab . Under Platform Modules, select All Settings within Settings.
On the left pane, expand General Settings, and then select Macros.
On the Macros page, click on Review Usage
.
Understand Usage Insights

The Review Usage view helps you evaluate each macro based on the following key metrics.
Key Metrics
Name - Name of the macro.
Mark as Reviewed - Action button available per row to mark the macro as reviewed.
Supported for single selection and bulk actions
Reviewed macros can be filtered out to simplify further analysis
Owner - User who created the macro
Shared with - Indicates the visibility or sharing scope of the macro.
Date Created - Indicates the date on which the macro was created.
Usages – Number of times the macro has been applied across the platform.
Applied Count - Number of times the macro has been applied within a selected time range. The date filter applies only to this metric.
Last Used – Indicates how recently the macro was used.
Filter and Review Macros
Use filters to filter out Reviewed and Not Reviewed macros.
Quick Filter - Provides preset filters for quickly narrowing down macros (e.g., based on common criteria).
Reviewed Filter - Toggle between:
Yes - Reviewed macros
No - Not reviewed macros
Add Filter - Add additional filters dynamically to further refine results.
Date Range Filter

Quickly apply predefined time ranges such as:
Today
Yesterday
Last 7 days
Last 30 days
This month, etc.
Use the Month and Year Selectors to navigate across months and years
When you select Custom Range, the calender on the left is used to select the FROM date and the right calender is used to select TO date.
You can select the Start Date, End Date, Start Time, and End Time for which the data will be filtered.
