Create a Game

Use this workflow to create a new gamified program.

  1. From the Admin Dashboard, select Create Game.

  2. In the Game Details window, complete configuration across the following tabs:

    • Game Details

    • Goal Configuration

    • Game Members

  3. Select Create Game to publish immediately, or Save as Draft to publish later.

Result: The game appears in the Active Games or Upcoming Games section based on its configured start date.

Configure Game Details

Use the Game Details tab to define how the game appears and behaves.

You can configure:

  • The game name and description, which are visible to players.

  • The goal type, which determines whether points reset daily or accumulate across the game duration.

  • The game time period, including start date, end date, and post-completion visibility.

  • Leaderboard settings, including whether a leaderboard is displayed and how many top performers are shown (up to 300).

  • Notification preferences for events such as game launch, game completion, point allocation, goal achievement, and configuration updates.

Configure Game Goals

Use the Goal Configuration tab to define how performance is measured and rewarded.

Add a Goal

  • Enter a goal name.

  • Select a metric type.

  • Configure targets, points, milestones, and visual indicators.

  • Repeat the process to add multiple goals.

Select a Metric Type

You can choose:

  • User Performance Metrics, which are prebuilt metrics sourced from Sprinklr Reporting and mapped to agents.

  • Count-based metrics, which track record counts for selected entities using filters and permission controls.

Define the Goal Objective

Specify whether:

  • Higher values indicate better performance, or

  • Lower values represent improved efficiency.

Set Targets and Milestones

Define the target required for full goal completion. Optionally, break the target into milestones to provide incremental progress markers for participants.

Configure the Points System

You can award points:

  • Only after full goal completion, or

  • Progressively based on percentage achievement ranges.

Points directly affect leaderboard rankings and total scores.

Configure Color Indicators

Assign colors to achievement ranges to visually represent performance levels, such as low, moderate, and high achievement. You can define up to ten color states per goal.

Review Drilldowns

Sprinklr automatically generates drilldowns for each goal. These drilldowns show the individual records contributing to metric calculations and require no additional setup.

Add Game Members

Use the Game Members tab to assign users to the game.

You can add:

  • Game Players, whose performance is tracked and scored.

  • Game Managers, who manage and monitor games.

  • Game Watchers, who have read-only access.

After assigning users, publish the game or save it as a draft.

Result: Once the game’s start date is reached, players begin earning points.
