Indicator Configuration

Updated

The Indicator Configuration feature in Screen Recording allows businesses to control whether agents are shown a visual indicator when their screen is being recorded, helping maintain transparency by informing agents that recording is active. While this indicator is typically enabled to ensure clarity, organizations may choose to disable it in specific scenarios such as compliance-driven workflows or distraction-free environments. This configuration is managed through the Recording Sampling Settings under screen recording setup and provides key benefits including improved transparency when enabled, a distraction-free experience when disabled, compliance flexibility based on regulatory or internal needs, and greater administrative control over how recording notifications are displayed in the agent interface.

Note: Access to the compliance policy is governed by permissions, ensuring that only users with the relevant permissions can access it.

Permissions for Compliance Policy: Permission name to view/edit is "Compliance Policy": View and Edit.

Once these permissions are enabled, you get to see the Compliance Manager module.
