Use the Screen Recording entity in Data Connector to export screen recordings from Sprinklr to external destinations such as cloud storage or SFTP servers. This capability enables organisations to automate screen recording exports instead of manually downloading recordings.

You can use exported recordings for long-term storage, compliance processes, external integrations, and offline analysis.

Before You Begin

To use screen recording exports:

1. Submit a support request to enable Data Connector for your environment.
2. After Data Connector is enabled, complete the required platform configuration.

Configure a Screen Recording Export

Open Data Connector

1. Select New Tab.
2. Under Sprinklr Service, select Data Connector - V2 from Persona Apps.
3. Select Export.
4. Select + Export Connector.

Select a Data Type

Choose the data type to export.

Available options include:

• Raw Entity
• Entity Reports
• Report Group
• Template

To export screen recordings:

• Select Raw Entity as the export type.
• Select Screen Recording as the entity.

Configure Filters

Use filters to specify which recordings to export.

Recording Filter

A Recording Filter is required.

Use recording-related attributes to identify the recordings that should be included in the export, such as:

• Recording type
• Source account
• Recording properties

Case Filter

A Case Filter is optional.

Use case fields, including custom case fields, to export recordings that are associated with specific cases.

Configure the Destination

Select the destination where exported recordings will be stored.

Supported destinations include:

• SFTP
• Cloud Storage
• Email
• Local System
• Google Cloud Storage (GCS)

Configure Destination Settings

Depending on the destination type, provide the following information:

• Host Name
• Port Number
• User Name
• Directory
• Directory Delimiter
• Authentication credentials

Schedule Exports

Configure when and how often the export runs.

Recording File Naming

The export includes:

• Recording files
• Metadata files

For multiple recordings associated with the same case, the file name includes a sequence number to distinguish each recording.

All exported recordings are provided in decrypted format.

Configure Additional Settings

Rules to Execute

Select a queue rule to run after an export completes successfully.

For example, you can use a queue rule to:

• Update custom fields
• Mark recordings as exported
• Trigger additional workflows
• Start post-export processing

Grant access to specific users or user groups.

Notifications

Enable notifications to receive updates about:

• Export completion
• Export failures
• Processing errors

Configure the notification type and recipients before saving the connector.
