How to Set Up Progressive Screener (V2) in Advocacy
Updated
Overview
This article explains how to set up Progressive Screener (V2) in Advocacy. It walks through enabling the feature, configuring screener questions, using existing user data, and publishing changes. Use this guide to ensure a streamlined onboarding experience while maintaining accurate data collection and validation rules.
Step 1: Enable Progressive Screener
To enable this feature:
Navigate to Advocacy > Admin Console within Sprinklr Social.

Go to the Screener section.
Select Screener (V2) and turn it ON.

Add the required branding images for Web and Mobile.
Select Save.
Publish the site to apply your changes.
After you publish the site, the new onboarding experience becomes active.
Step 2: Understand How Your Questions Behave
Your existing screener questions continue to work in Progressive Screener (V2). However, the way they appear to users may change.
Required Questions
These are essential questions.
They appear during onboarding only when the system does not already have values for them.
Non‑Required Questions
These are optional.
They do not appear during onboarding.
Users can complete them after entering the platform.
Step 3: Use Existing User Data (Recommended)
If your organization uses:
Single Sign‑On (SSO), or
User data uploads through SFTP
map these fields to the correct screener fields.
This allows the system to:
Auto-fill user information.
Skip those questions during onboarding.
Step 4: Set Up Dependent Questions (If Needed)
Some questions may appear based on the user’s earlier responses.
Example:
If the user selects Sales, you may want to show Sales Region.
When setting up dependencies in Screener (V2):
If a child question is required, its parent question must also be required.
Parent and child questions must follow the same behavior pattern.
Step 5: Add Images to Improve Onboarding
To help users engage with the onboarding screen:
The Desktop image appears beside the questions.
The Mobile image appears above the questions.
Make sure both images are added in the Screener configuration.
Step 6: Publish Your Changes
After configuring all settings:
Select Publish.
The updated onboarding experience becomes live.
Checklist Before Publishing
Ensure the following before publishing:
You have added at least one required question.
Required questions are meaningful and relevant.
Auto‑fill mappings are correct.
Dependencies follow Screener (V2) rules.
