Sprinklr Copilot for Social - Content Generation and Optimization

Updated

Overview

Social Copilot enhances content creation within the Social Planner by enabling users to generate and optimize textual content such as post captions and comment responses. This feature helps streamline content workflows and improves efficiency in managing social media communication.

Currently, content-related queries are routed to the FAQ Bot model, which often leads to inaccurate or irrelevant responses. With this enhancement, Copilot will directly support content creation use cases, making it more effective and context-aware.

Note:

Sprinklr Copilot for Social is now generally available and will be accessible to all users of Sprinklr customers as a GA feature. If you require user-level permission control for Sprinklr Copilot for Social, please reach out to your Success Manager (SM) or raise a ticket at support@sprinklr.com.

We support OpenAI’s GPT, Gemini and Bedrock in Sprinklr Copilot for Social.

Objective

Enable Copilot to assist users in:

  • Drafting social media captions and posts

  • Generating responses to comments

  • Optimizing content based on tone and context

This addresses a key gap, as content-related assistance is one of the most common user needs (~7% of queries) but is not fully supported today.

Key Capabilities

1. Content Generation

  • Generate captions for social media posts across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram)

  • Draft replies to user comments

  • Create engaging and platform-relevant content

2. Tone Customization

  • Adjust content tone based on user preference, such as:

    • Professional

    • Casual

    • Witty

    • Excited

  • Refine and regenerate content based on feedback

3. Contextual Clarification

  • Ask follow-up questions when sufficient input is not provided

  • Examples of clarifications:

    • Product or campaign details

    • Target platform

    • Call-to-action (CTA)

    • Brand guidelines

4. Posting Optimization

  • Suggest the best time to schedule posts based on historical performance data

  • Factors considered:

    • Channel

    • Account

    • Past engagement metrics

    • Time-of-day performance

    • Day-of-week performance

    • Performance on the same dates in the previous month

How It Works

  1. User submits a content-related request (e.g., caption or reply) in Sprinklr Copilot

  2. Copilot asks clarifying questions if needed.

  3. User provides additional details.

  4. Copilot generates a draft response.

  5. User can request refinements (e.g., shorter, different tone), and use the final response

Sample Use Cases

1. Post Caption Creation

users can now create content directly from the Planner Copilot screen.

User Query:
“Can you help me draft a LinkedIn post for a Black Friday sale?”

Copilot Flow:

  • Copilot may ask for a few details and then generate a complete response, including CTAs and hashtags

  • Refines tone and length based on user feedback

  • Currently, there is no direct option to add this content to Quick Publish (QP), but users can easily copy and paste the generated content into QP.

2. Comment Response Generation

Positive Comment Example:
“Help me reply to a comment: ‘I love this new version of sunscreen!’”

Negative Comment Example:
“Draft me a reply to this comment: ‘I don’t really like this product!’”

Copilot Flow:

  • Asks for context (platform, product, goal, policies)

  • Generates a professional and empathetic response

  • Encourages further engagement or issue resolution

3. Posting Optimization

Social Copilot now helps users determine the optimal time to schedule posts based on historical performance data. By analyzing factors such as channel, account, past engagement metrics, time-of-day and day-of-week performance, and performance on the same dates in the previous month, Copilot can suggest the best posting times to maximize reach and engagement.

For example, a user might ask, “When should I post my Black Friday post on LinkedIn?” Copilot will first request details like the account and time period, and then provide ranked recommendations, such as:

  1. 12:00 PM, 19 Nov 2025; 11:00 AM, 20 Nov 2025

  2. 10:00 PM, 20 Nov 2025; 9:00 PM, 21 Nov 2025

Other sample queries include: “What is the best day and time to post my Instagram reel?” or “When should I post my Instagram post to get the maximum likes?”

This feature addresses one of the most common user requests—determining the best time to post—which is currently the third most asked query type not yet supported in Planner Copilot.

Benefits

  • Improved Efficiency: Reduces time spent on manual content drafting

  • Better Engagement: Generates high-quality, context-aware responses

  • Consistency: Maintains brand tone across communications

  • Flexibility: Allows easy iteration and tone adjustments
