Sprinklr Copilot for Social - Widget & Metric Drilldowns
Updated
Overview
The Reporting Copilot now provides a more contextual way to analyze dashboard performance. In addition to generating qualitative insights, Copilot can now be launched directly from dashboard widgets and metric drilldowns, allowing you to investigate trends, anomalies, and performance changes without leaving the dashboard.
When launched from these entry points, Copilot automatically receives the relevant dashboard context—such as metrics, dimensions, filters, and time range—so you can immediately begin asking questions without manually describing the data.
Ask Copilot from a Metric Drilldown
When you identify an unexpected spike, drop, or trend in a chart, you can investigate that specific data point directly from the Metric Drilldown.
To ask Copilot from a metric drilldown:
- Navigate to Sprinklr Social > Reporting to open the Reporting Dashboards
- Open a Reporting dashboard and select a metric.
- Click the required metric to open the Metric Drilldown.
- Select Ask Copilot from the drilldown menu.

Reporting Copilot opens with the following context automatically applied:
- Selected metric
- Date or time range of the selected data point
- Dimensions displayed in the visualization
- Filters applied to the widget
You can immediately ask questions such as:
- Why did impressions spike on this day?
- What contributed to this drop in engagement?
- Which segments drove this change?
This enables you to move quickly from identifying a performance change to understanding its potential causes.
Ask Copilot from a Dashboard Widget
You can also launch Reporting Copilot directly from any dashboard widget to explore its performance in greater detail.
To ask Copilot from a widget:
- Navigate to Sprinklr Social > Reporting to open the Reporting Dashboards
- Open a Reporting dashboard and select the desired widget.
- Select Ask Copilot from the drilldown menu.

Reporting Copilot automatically includes the widget's context, including:
- Metrics displayed in the widget
- Dimensions used to break down the data
- Selected reporting time range
You can ask questions such as:
- What stands out in this widget?
- What trends should I pay attention to?
- Is there anything unusual in this performance breakdown?
Because the widget context is already available, you can focus on analyzing the results instead of explaining the report setup.
