AI-Powered Discovery Feed in Sprinklr Advocacy

Updated

Overview

The AI-Powered Discovery Feed enhances the content-sharing experience in Sprinklr Advocacy by delivering personalized content recommendations to advocates. Instead of browsing through a static or chronological feed, advocates receive AI-curated recommendations based on their activity, making it easier to discover and share relevant content.

The feature helps reduce decision fatigue, increases engagement, and improves advocacy participation by surfacing posts advocates are most likely to share.

Availability:

The AI-Powered Discovery Feed is available to advocates in projects where an administrator has enabled the feature through AI+ Studio.

This feature is currently in Limited Availability (LA). To request access, please contact your Success Manager or submit a request to tickets@sprinklr.com.

What Is the AI-Powered Discovery Feed?

The AI-Powered Discovery Feed personalizes the content experience within Sprinklr Advocacy by analyzing each advocate's activity and recommending content that aligns with their interests and behavior.

Recommendations are generated based on factors such as:

  • Content sharing history

  • Likes and reactions

  • Comments and engagement activity

  • Interactions with previously shared posts

  • Content preferences inferred from user behavior

As advocates continue engaging with content, the recommendation engine learns and improves over time.

What's Included?

The Discovery Feed introduces a dedicated Recommended tab within the Advocacy content feed.

Within this tab, advocates can:

  • View AI-ranked content recommendations

  • Discover relevant posts more quickly

  • Share content with greater confidence

  • Receive increasingly accurate recommendations as they engage

Important Notes

  • Posts that have already been shared by an advocate will not appear again in their Recommended tab.

  • Recommendations continuously improve as more engagement data is collected.

Enabling and Managing the Discovery Feed

Before You Begin

The Discovery Feed requires AI functionality to be enabled for your organization.

If AI capabilities are not active for your partner account, the Discovery Feed cannot be enabled within Advocacy.

Enable the Discovery Feed

To enable the Discovery Feed:

  1. Navigate to AI+ Studio in your Sprinklr Platform.

  2. Click Feature Access Management.

  3. Search for or locate Discovery Feed for Advocacy.

  4. Select the project where you want to enable the feature.

  5. Toggle the feature On.

  6. Once enabled, advocates in the selected project will begin seeing the Recommended tab as recommendation data accumulates.

Configure Visibility

Administrators can further control access by configuring visibility filters in AI+ Studio.

Visibility can be restricted based on:

  • Custom fields

  • Screener criteria

  • User segmentation rules

Disable the Discovery Feed

To disable the feature:

  1. Open AI+ Studio.

  2. Locate Discovery Feed for Advocacy.

  3. Select the relevant project.

  4. Toggle the feature Off.

When disabled:

  • The Recommended tab is removed immediately.

  • Advocates continue using the standard content feed.

  • Existing recommendation data is retained unless a relaunch is performed.

Relaunching the Discovery Feed

What Is a Relaunch?

A Discovery Feed relaunch resets recommendation data accumulation from a specified date and starts collecting fresh interaction data moving forward.

Organizations may choose to relaunch when:

  • Starting a new recommendation cycle

  • Relaunching an advocacy program

  • Improving recommendation quality after significant platform changes

  • Rebuilding recommendation signals using more recent activity

Required Permission

Users must have the Relaunch Discovery Feed permission assigned under Global Roles to access this functionality.

How to Relaunch the Discovery Feed

  1. Navigate to Admin Console.

  2. Open your Advocacy site.

  3. Click the three-dot menu next to the site.

  4. Select Relaunch Discovery Feed.

  5. Choose the date from which recommendation data should begin accumulating.

  6. Click Confirm Changes.

Scheduling Options

  • The default relaunch date is the current day.

  • Relaunches can be scheduled up to 6 months in advance.

What Happens After a Relaunch?

Once a relaunch occurs:

  • Recommendation data collected before the selected date is excluded from future recommendations.

  • The system begins collecting fresh interaction and engagement data from the chosen date.

  • Personalized recommendations may temporarily be unavailable until enough new activity data has been accumulated.

Editing or Cancelling a Scheduled Relaunch

Before the scheduled relaunch date:

  • The relaunch date can be modified.

  • The scheduled relaunch can be cancelled.

After the relaunch has been triggered:

  • The action cannot be undone.

Note: If the Discovery Feed is not enabled for the project, triggering a relaunch will have no effect.

Reporting on the AI-Powered Discovery Feed

Administrators can monitor adoption and engagement through reporting.

Available Reporting Metrics

Dimension: Interacted from Recommended Feed

Indicates whether a user interaction occurred specifically within the Recommended feed experience.

This dimension can be used alongside:

  • Channel Insights

  • Activity reporting

  • Likes

  • Comments

  • Shares

  • Bookmarks

Activity: Viewed Recommended Posts

Tracks when advocates view posts within the Recommended feed.

This metric is available within activity reporting and can help measure recommendation visibility and engagement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Why am I not seeing any recommendations?

A1. Recommendations require sufficient activity data to be generated.

If you have recently joined the program or have limited engagement history, your Recommended tab may be empty or unavailable initially.

Continue sharing and interacting with content to help the system build recommendations.

Q2. How much historical data is used?

A2. The recommendation engine initially considers approximately the last 30 days of activity and continues learning from new interactions over time.

Q3. Will posts I've already shared appear again?

A3. No. Once you share a post, it will no longer appear in your Recommended tab.

Q4. Can I turn off recommendations for myself?

A4. No. Individual advocates cannot disable recommendations.

Only administrators can enable or disable the Discovery Feed at the project level through AI+ Studio.

Q5. Is my personal data used to generate recommendations?

A5. No. The recommendation engine uses anonymized interaction data such as:

  • Shares

  • Likes

  • Comments

  • Engagement activity

Personally identifiable information (PII), including names and email addresses, is not used to generate recommendations.

Q6. How do administrators relaunch recommendations?

A6. Administrators can relaunch recommendations through the three-dot menu on the Advocacy site within Admin Console.

Refer to the Relaunch Discovery Feed section above for detailed instructions.

Q7. What happens if the Discovery Feed is disabled during an active recommendation cycle?

A7. The Recommended tab disappears immediately for advocates.

No recommendation data is lost. If the feature is re-enabled later, the system resumes using existing data unless a relaunch has been triggered.
