Deep Research in Sprinklr Copilot

Updated

Deep Research is an advanced research mode within Copilot that generates research-grade analytical reports alongside high‑quality conversational interactions.. It prioritizes depth and reliability over speed by expanding data sources, applying multi-step analysis, and producing structured outputs with metrics, visuals, and citations. This makes it ideal for scenarios that require high-confidence, well-supported insights.

Business Use Cases

Deeper Research is best suited for situations where accuracy, coverage, and traceability matter:

  • Strategic analysis: Support business and market decisions with comprehensive, data-backed insights.

  • Brand and sentiment research: Consolidate broad mention coverage with quantitative metrics and visual trends.

  • Risk and compliance assessments: Evaluate sensitive or regulated topics using transparent sourcing and structured evidence.

  • Stakeholder-ready reporting: Generate clear summaries, visualizations, and recommendations for sharing with leadership.

  • Hypothesis validation: Confirm or challenge assumptions through deeper analytical reasoning across diverse data sources.

Accessing Deep Research

The steps to access Deep Research are mentioned below:

  1. Navigate to Sprinklr Insights and then access Sprinklr Copilot for Research under Explorer within Listen.

Core Capabilities of Deep Research

Structure Reports

Unlike standard Copilot responses, Deeper Research generates structured analytical reports that typically include:

  • Introduction: Provides the research context and objective

  • Methodology: Describes data sources, analytical approach, and limitations

  • Detailed findings: Presents thematic insights and in-depth analysis

  • Visual analysis: Includes charts and graphical representations of key data.

    Note:

Sprinklr Widget integration is supported to provide insights into data.

  • Key findings: Summarizes the most important discoveries.

  • Recommendations: Outlines actionable next steps based on insights.

  • Source bibliography: Lists transparent and traceable citations.

  • Summary table: Offers a structured, high-level overview of results.

Larger and More Diverse Data Sources

Deep Research improves reliability by using larger and more diverse data sources, increasing mention volume, expanding sample size, and reducing bias to deliver more balanced and credible insights.

Metrics and Quantitative Analysis

Deep Research ensures insights are data‑backed by incorporating quantitative metrics such as mention volume, engagement, share of voice (SOV), entity analysis, and theme‑based discussion volumes.

Multi-Step Research Planning with Streaming support

Deep Research uses a multi‑stage planning approach instead of a single query, breaking the user’s request into multiple analytical steps. It generates sub‑queries, retrieves data from multiple sources, aggregates and synthesizes results, and produces structured insights, enabling broader analysis and more comprehensive findings.
