Response Summary for Requests using Sprinklr AI+

Updated

Response Summary uses Sprinklr AI+ to generate a structured summary of a request in a single click. It helps you quickly understand the request, recent updates, collaboration activity, and workflow progress without manually reviewing information across multiple sections.

Use Response Summary to:

  • Understand requests faster by reviewing key request details, objectives, milestones, and timelines in a consolidated summary.

  • Stay informed about changes and collaboration by tracking recent updates, discussions, action items, and ownership.

  • Monitor execution and progress by identifying workflow status, follow-up actions, delayed work, and overdue tasks.

Depending on the information available in the request, Response Summary can summarize request details, field changes, comments and replies, entity associations, task progress, and request activity history.

Before you begin

Response Summary is controlled through Feature Access Management (FAM). To enable the feature in your environment, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM). For new Marketing partners, Response Summary is available by default.

For more information about managing AI+ features through FAM, see Feature Access Management in AI+ Studio.

Generate a Response Summary

You can generate a Response Summary for any submitted request form that contains a response.

  1. Open the request for which you want to generate a summary.

  2. In the request's third pane, select Overview.

  3. Click Generate in the Generate Response Summary card at the top of the pane.

  4. Sprinklr AI+ analyses the available request information and generates a summary based on request details, activity, collaboration updates, and workflow progress.

  5. Review the summary in the Response Summary widget at the top of the third pane. The Response Summary widget remains pinned to the top of the third pane, making it easy to access while reviewing the request.

Understand the Response Summary

Response Summary organizes request information into the following three sections:

  • Overview

  • Latest Activity & Collaboration

  • Progress Update

The information displayed in each section depends on the data available in the request.

Overview

The Overview section provides a concise summary of the request. It can include:

  • The request objective, initiative, and scope

  • Key request details and populated fields

  • Important start, due, launch, and milestone dates

Only populated request fields are included in this section. Important dates are highlighted separately when date information is available.

Latest Activity & Collaboration

The Latest Activity & Collaboration section summarizes recent changes and discussions related to the request. It can include:

  • Field additions, updates, and removals

  • Entity associations and entity creation activities

  • Comments and collaboration updates

  • Action items identified in discussions

The section considers activities that occurred within one month of the latest summary generation or regeneration and displays the most recent activity first. When a category contains many activities, the summary includes the most relevant updates from that category.

Progress Update

The Progress Update section summarizes workflow progress and task status. It can include:

  • Active tasks and their status

  • Task assignees and due dates

  • Delayed or overdue tasks

  • The duration of task delays

When task information is available, the summary identifies overdue tasks, their assignees, and the duration of the delay.

Similar Responses

The Similar Responses section helps you identify related responses.

The section displays responses that are more than 50% similar to the current response, along with their similarity percentage that indicates how closely they match. Each response is displayed with its response ID, which you can click to open the corresponding response.

Use the Similar Responses section to identify and act on similar or duplicate responses more quickly.

Response Summary Features

View the original summary or change its language

The first generated summary appears in your system language when that language is supported.

Use the language selector in the summary header to view the original summary or select another supported language. Your language selection is retained for you on that response.

Stay informed about new activity

Response Summary tracks qualifying activity that occurs after the latest summary generation.

When new activity is available:

  • The widget displays the number of updates since the last refresh.

  • A blue badge on the regenerate icon indicates that new activity is available.

The update count reflects the number of qualifying activities that occurred after the summary was last generated or refreshed. These indicators help you determine when the existing summary no longer reflects the latest request activity.

Regenerate a summary

Use the Regenerate icon to refresh the summary with the latest qualifying request activity.

  1. Open the request containing the generated summary.

  2. Review the update count displayed in the Response Summary widget.

  3. Click the Regenerate icon.

  4. Review the refreshed summary.

The refreshed summary incorporates the latest qualifying request activity.

Activities included in the update count

The update count changes according to the following rules:

Activity

Counting behavior

Request or response field additions, updates, or removals

Each field change counts as a separate update.

Comments or replies

One or more new comments or replies count as one update.

Entity associations

Each association counts as a separate update.

Entity creation activities

Each creation event counts as a separate update.

Check when the summary was updated

After you regenerate a summary, its footer indicates when it was last updated. Depending on the elapsed time, the footer displays a relative timestamp. For example, Updated just now, Updated 1 min ago, and so on.

The label is checked every minute and changes based on the time elapsed since the summary was generated.

Provide feedback on a summary

Use the feedback controls in the Response Summary widget to rate the generated summary:

  • Select the thumbs-up icon when the summary is helpful.

  • Select the thumbs-down icon when the summary is not helpful.

Your response is recorded as feedback on the generated summary.
