Styling Survey: Styling in Presentation Mode

Presentation Mode in survey design provides a full-screen, single-question-per-page layout that boosts respondent focus and engagement. This immersive style creates a distraction-free environment, guiding participants smoothly through the survey while preserving a clean, polished look.

Prerequisites

You must have survey creation rights to leverage this feature.

Setting Up Presentation Mode

Navigate to Sprinklr Insights and go to the Customer Feedback Management persona app and open a Survey, and go to Builder. To enable Presentation Mode, go to the Styling tab on the right side of the builder and select Presentation from the Select View dropdown.

  • Page

    • Background: You have the option to modify the background color of your presentation by choosing a hue from the color library or by inputting a custom solid color code that aligns with your brand or design preferences.

    • Image: You can upload your image or select one from the Creative Library to customize the presentation background, giving it a more personalized and visually engaging appearance.

  • Questions Styling

    Question Container

    • Background: You have the option to modify the background color of your presentation by choosing a hue from the color library or by inputting a custom solid color code that aligns with your brand or design preferences.

    • Border: You can customize you border color.

    • Radius: You can adjust corner radius and spacing between questions.

    Question Title

    • Question Typography: You can adjust question title text color, font style, alignment, and font size.

    • You can toggle to enable question numbers for better readability in survey builder and respondent view.

  • Question Media in Presentation mode

    You can adjust the question media as below:

    • Left Centered

    • Left Filled

    • Between Title and Answer

  • Answer Styling

    • You can customize answer typography, including font style, size, and color.

  • Buttons

    • Background and Border: You can modify button background and border color.

    • Button Text: You can adjust text font size, style, and color.

    • Padding: You can adjust the padding of the buttons.

    • You can enable and disable Next and Back icons.

  • Branding Control

    • You can manage branding visibility for content pages and special pages.

  • Progress Bar

    • You can customize progress bar background and primary color.

    • Position: You can select the options to adjust progress bar position.

Note:

  • You will not be able to style find header, footer and survey background in styling.

  • The overall font size is increased for better readability.

  • New survey pages are automatically added to support the one-question-per-page layout.

  • The 'Page Background' setting serves as the sole background, replacing individual section or question backgrounds."

Preview

You can use the Preview mode to see how your survey styling appears across different presentation modes. Conduct a test survey by sharing it internally to gather feedback on the overall styling and consistency. Use the responses to identify any visual elements that may need improvement, and make necessary adjustments before launching the survey publicly.

Key points to note

  • Styling components disabled in presentation view do not automatically get enabled when view is changed back to normal or default mode.

  • Multiple questions cannot be added in a single page in Presentation mode.

  • Only horizontal transitions are available while traversing through surveys in Presentation mode.


Best Practices

  • While styling in Presentation Mode, you can enhance your questions by adding media such as images, videos, or GIFs. This helps create a more engaging and visually appealing survey experience for respondents.

  • For Left or right filled image alignment, adjust the image size to avoid stretching.
