Threads Integration enables keyword and topic tag–based listening on Threads, allowing you to monitor public posts, and listen to defined topics directly within Sprinklr.

Here’s how Threads listening works within Sprinklr

1. Listening via Topic Tags (#) - Sprinklr platform integrates directly with these APIs, allowing you to monitor posts where users have intentionally added a topic tag to label their conversation.

2. Keyword Listening - While Threads does not provide full keyword search across the entire platform, Sprinklr surfaces keyword insights through:

   1. Public brand posts and reposts are collected through Benchmarking.

   2. You can run keyword analysis on this already-collected dataset.

   To strengthen coverage, Sprinklr is also expanding the set of public Threads accounts collected via Benchmarking.

About Topic Tags

A topic tag in Threads is a label added to a post to help people discover and follow conversations on a specific subject. It is similar to a hashtag on other platforms, but with important differences:

• Only one topic tag is allowed per post.

• Topic tags can include multiple words, spaces, and special characters.

Note - Currently addition of topic tag with spaces are not allowed. This enhancement is expected to go live in 26.7.

Prerequisites

On Sprinklr Platform

1. Authentication of at least 1 threads account in Sprinklr enviroment is required.

2. To proceed, you'll require access to both the Threads Hashtag Settings View and the Threads Hashtag Settings Edit options, located within Listening Settings.

On Threads Natively

Along with this you would also need permissions natively which is Keyword search as shown below.

After approval, public posts will be searchable.

Setting Up Threads Hashtags

Threads Hashtags Manager can be accessed in two ways:

• Through Topics

• Through Listening Settings

To begin retrieving results, you must enable the Threads hashtag, and you must include the same hashtag in the topic, which also must be enabled for fetching results.

Through Topics

1. Click the New Tab icon. Under Sprinklr Insights, click Topics within Listen.

   ​

2. On the Topics window, click + Add Topic in the top right corner. Fill in the necessary details and select Query Based Listening as Topic type. Toggle on the Fetching option in the bottom left corner. Click Next to move to the next section to set up the query.

   ​

   

3. Go to Setup Query page and select Advanced. Enter the hashtag and click View Hashtags.

   ​

4. ​In the third pane, select Threads, and here you can see all the hashtags entered in the query. In the third pane, you will also see the status bar for Threads Hashtags to inform you about the quota of Threads Hashtags.

   ​

   Toggle to enbale fetching hashtags, and then click Manage Hashtags to go to the Threads Hashtags page.

   

   

5. Click Next, apply the desired filters, and make sure that for fetching Threads hastag mentions, Threads is selected as the source. Click Save Topic to save your Topic.

   ​

Activate hashtags for use while creating a topic on the fly, without needing to access the Threads Hashtag Manager, as long as you have a quota for activation.

You need to toggle to start fetching the topics.

Through Listening Settings

1. Navigate to Sprinklr Insights and go to Listening Settings (under Listen).

   ​

2. Go to All Settings and select Threads Hashtags.

   Alternatively, you can select All Settings and under Product select Sprinklr Insights and select Threads Hashtags.

   ​

3. Go to Hashtag Manager page and you would be able to see all the hashtags including Registered and Not Registered Hashtags.

   ​

Manage Hashtags

You can visit the Manage Hashtag Page, where you can access the Hashtags. This is a centralized location for managing (make the hashtag active and even check the audit trail) all your registered hashtags. On the Hashtags account manager page, you will be able to see Total Hashtags, Active and Inactive Hashtags.

You have the option to search, refresh, export.

• You have the option to navigate to different hashtags by clicking on the dropdown option:

• Not Registered

• You can also see the total hashtags.

• You also have the option to search for a hashtag by typing the hashtag in the search bar, clicking the refresh option to refresh the page, and you can even click the Export Threads Hashtags option to export the hashtag (click Horizontal Ellipsis to access the export option).

• You can click the Vertical Ellipsis (⋮) next to a hashtag and access the following functionalities:

  • Audit: You can examine the audit trail to find out when a hashtag was altered, who performed the edit, and what changes were made.
