Note: TikTok Videos vs TikTok Authorized Posts

When boosting a TikTok post, there will be the original organic post (the "TikTok Video") and a duplicate ad post (the "TikTok Authorized Post").

If the ad gets comments, the messages will be attached to the TikTok Video only.

Migration to Ad Previews for TikTok Ad Comment:

TIkTok has stopped providing previews for Dark Ads. Meaning it is only possible to view the Ads for Dark Ads and individual posts are no longer visible.

To view the TikTok Ad Preview please follow the following steps:

  1. Open the thread view for a Dark Ad

  2. Click on Open Ad Preview. The CTA will Go Into Loading State

  3. The TikTok Ads Manager Preview will open in a new tab
