X Discovery helps you discover and analyse real‑time trending topics and conversations on X. X Discovery helps you stay on top of what people are talking about in real time. You can spot emerging trends across topics and posts then dig deeper into individual posts to understand why they’re gaining traction, what’s driving the buzz, and when the activity started. You can also explore trending topics by location and quickly dive into related posts using the Trends.

Use Cases

• Identify emerging conversations in real time: Discover trending topics and discussion threads on X as they surface, enabling teams to stay ahead of breaking conversations and evolving public sentiment.

• Analyze trends by geography: Explore region‑specific trends to tailor content, campaigns, and engagement strategies for targeted markets and local audiences.

• Understand trend drivers and engagement signals: Drill down into individual posts within a trend to uncover what is driving visibility and engagement, including key themes, contributors, and interaction patterns.

Prerequisites

X Discovery is available for everyone by default.

Accessing X Trend Discovery

Follow the steps below to access Threads Trend Discovery:

1. Navigate to Sprinklr Insights and then choose Trend Discovery in the Explorer section within Listen.

   ​

2. Navigate to the Social Channel page and then select X.

   ​

3. You can choose and click on any of the X trends to delve deeper and obtain insights at the post level. By clicking on any of the posts, you will have access to Top Posts and Recent Posts.

   ​

4. By clicking on the post, you will be taken directly to the Native post.

   ​

5. You can view the number of mentions by selecting the top Trends option, applying the region filter and selecting your desired country by clicking on the region filter to see the trends for that particular area.

Create Query

1. Click Create Query on the trending topics page.

   

2. Go to the Create Research Query section and fill in the details:

   

   1. Name: Enter the name of the query.

   2. Query: Fill in the required fields to build your query.

   3. Tags: Add an easily accessible tag.

   4. Filters: Select relevant filters. You can add new filters using + Add New Filters.

3. Click Create.

Manage X Discovery

• Filters: Users can explore from multiple filters as shown below by clicking on the + option.
