Recording Permissions
Updated
This document describes the permissions available in Sprinklr Voice for managing call recordings, transcripts, and recording segments. These permissions determine which users can access, modify, or delete recordings during and after a call.
Note:
Recordings generated in the system can be accessed through the Conversation Pane, QM View, and Reporting.
All permissions apply consistently across these access points unless explicitly stated otherwise.
1. Call Controls
These permissions allow users to manage recording behavior during a live call.
Permission | Description |
Voice Pause Recording | Temporarily pause an ongoing call recording using Call Controls while the call is in progress. |
Voice Resume Recording | Resume a previously paused call recording using Call Controls. |
Cancel Voice Recording | Cancel and permanently delete an active call recording during a live call using Call Controls. No recording will be generated or saved after the call ends. |
Snip Recording | Enable agents to capture and save short, relevant portions of a call as recording snippets.
|
2. Recordings and Transcripts
These permissions control access to complete recordings, snippet recordings, and call transcripts.
Permission | Description |
View Main Recording | Access and play the main call recording of the agent–customer interaction.
|
View Snippet Recording | View snippet recordings created during the call.
|
View Segment Recording | Access individual segment recordings within a conversation. |
View Transcript | View the text transcript of the conversation.
|
Download Recording | Download the full main recording or snippet recordings for offline access or archiving. Users can download segment recordings only from the QM View. |
Purge Main Recording | Permanently delete the full main recording from the system. If segmentation is enabled, all associated segments are also deleted. |
Purge Snippet Recording | Permanently delete snippet recordings from the system. |
3. Recording Segments
These permissions define visibility and access levels for segmented recordings within a conversation.
Permission | Description |
View All Segments | View all conversation segments, regardless of agent assignment. This permission is intended for administrators who require full end-to-end visibility. |
View Segments with Transition | View conversation segments involving at least one agent whose access level is granted to the current user. |
View Segments without Transition | View only the segments associated with agents whose access level the current user possesses. |
View All Agents in Activity | View all agent activity nodes in the conversation. If this permission is not granted, the user can only see activity nodes for agents listed in their Interaction Visibility field. |
