Summary

New Features

Distributed

The following new feature(s) are being introduced in Sprinklr Social's Distributed module:

Add Publishing Instructions to Distributed Post Assets

Sprinklr now enables admins to add publishing instructions directly to post assets when creating content for distributed users. These instructions provide contextual guidance that is displayed to distributed users when they select and publish a post asset, helping them understand content requirements, publishing expectations, or brand-specific guidelines before proceeding.

Previously, admins had no built-in way to share publishing guidance within post assets. As a result, distributed users often relied on external communication channels, such as email or messaging platforms, to receive clarification about content usage or publishing requirements. This made the publishing process less efficient and increased the risk of inconsistent content distribution.

With this enhancement, admins can enter instructions in a dedicated Description field while creating a post asset. When distributed users access the asset during the publishing workflow, these instructions are automatically displayed, ensuring they receive the relevant guidance at the point of action. This helps organisations standardise publishing practices, reduce dependency on external communication, and improve compliance with content and brand guidelines across distributed teams.

Behaviour Based on Configuration (DP Controlled)

The publishing experience depends on the partner configuration:

  • When confirmation is required: Distributed users must explicitly select Confirm after reviewing the instructions before they can publish the post. Publishing remains blocked until confirmation is provided.
  • When confirmation is optional: The instructions are still displayed to distributed users during publishing, but they can continue with publishing without providing confirmation. For further details, see Add Disclaimers for Distributed Post Assets.

Feature Updates

Engagement

The following feature(s) and improvement(s) are being introduced in Sprinklr Social's Engagement module:

Manage Instagram Collaboration Invites in Sprinklr

Sprinklr now enables authorised users to review and manage Instagram Collaboration Invites directly from the Engagement Dashboard. Users can view collaboration requests within Instagram Tagged Content, review invite details, and accept or reject collaboration invites when managing incoming Instagram engagement, eliminating the need to switch between Sprinklr and Instagram.

Previously, users had to leave Sprinklr to review and respond to Instagram Collaboration Invites, making it more time-consuming to manage brand partnerships and track collaboration requests across platforms.

With this enhancement, authorised users can manage collaboration invites from a single workspace. When a collaboration request is received on Instagram, users can review the invite details within the Engagement Dashboard, decide whether to accept or reject the request, and continue managing engagement activities without interrupting their workflow. This streamlines collaboration management, improves operational efficiency, and provides greater visibility into the status of brand partnership requests.

Collaboration actions are governed by a dedicated permission, ensuring that only authorised users can accept or reject collaboration invites. All invite statuses remain visible within Sprinklr, enabling teams to monitor collaboration requests, maintain transparency, and track partnership activity over time. For further details, see Manage Instagram Collaboration Invites in Sprinklr.

Publishing

The following feature(s) and improvement(s) are being introduced in Sprinklr Social's Publishing module:

Improved Discoverability of Social Copilot

Sprinklr has enhanced the discoverability of Social Copilot to help users become familiar with its capabilities more quickly. The first two times a user opens the Social Copilot screen, a dashboard summary is generated automatically to provide an immediate preview of the insights and functionality available within the feature.

Previously, users who accessed Social Copilot for the first time were required to manually initiate interactions to understand its capabilities, which could make it less obvious how the feature could support their workflows.

With this enhancement, users are automatically presented with a generated dashboard summary during their first two visits to the Social Copilot screen. This guided experience helps users quickly understand the value of Social Copilot, explore its capabilities without additional setup, and begin using the feature more confidently. After the first two launches, the dashboard behaves normally and summaries are generated based on standard user interactions.

This behaviour is expected and is designed to improve feature discoverability, accelerate user adoption, and provide a more intuitive onboarding experience for both new and existing Social Copilot users. For further details, see Sprinklr Copilot for Social - An Overview.
