Compose Reddit R/Max Campaigns

Updated

Reddit R/Max Campaigns are Reddit's AI-powered automated campaign type. R/Max automatically optimizes budget allocation, audience expansion, bidding, placements, and creative delivery while reducing manual campaign configuration.

In Sprinklr, R/Max is available as a dedicated Reddit campaign type. When you select R/Max, Sprinklr automatically applies Reddit's required automation settings and restricts unsupported configurations to help ensure compliance with Reddit's R/Max requirements.

  2. Configure the Target Audience.

  3. Configure Budget and Schedule.

  4. Create an R/Max Ad.

  5. Review and publish the campaign.

Configure Paid Initiative Details

  1. Navigate to Advertising > Ads Composer.

  2. Select the Reddit ad account that you want to use.

  3. Under Select Objective for your Paid Initiative, select one of the following objectives:

    • Reddit Traffic

    • Reddit Conversions

    • Reddit App Installs (available only for supported ad accounts)

  4. Enable R/Max Campaign.

  5. Enter the required Paid Initiative details, including:

    • Paid Initiative Name

    • Special Ad Categories, if applicable

    • Any other required fields displayed for the selected objective

  6. Click Next. The Target Audience tab opens, and Sprinklr configures the campaign as an R/Max campaign.

Note: R/Max supports only Traffic, Conversions, and App Installs objectives. When you select R/Max, Sprinklr automatically applies the automation settings required by Reddit.

Configure the Target Audience

  1. Create a new target audience or select an existing target audience.

  2. If you select an existing audience, choose from the audiences displayed by Sprinklr. Sprinklr displays only audiences that have Automated Targeting enabled.

  3. If you create a new audience within the R/Max workflow, Sprinklr automatically enables Automated Targeting for that audience.

  4. Add one or more audience signals:

    • Community

    • Interests

    • Keywords

  5. Configure audience controls, including Locations, Audience exclusions, and Community exclusions, if required.

  6. Click Save Target Audience and save the audience.

  7. Click Next. The audience is saved with Automated Targeting enabled, and the Budget & Schedule tab opens.

Important: You must provide at least one audience signal, such as a community, interest, or keyword. R/Max campaigns require Automated Targeting and do not support device targeting.

Configure Budget and Schedule

  1. Review the automatically enabled Campaign Budget Optimization setting.

  2. Configure the required budget settings.

  3. Under Bid Strategy, select one of the following:

    • Lowest Cost

    • Cost Cap

  6. Click Next. The Creatives tab opens with the R/Max creative workflow.

Important:

  • R/Max campaigns use Paid Initiative-level budgeting. Ad Set-level budget controls are not available. R/Max campaigns also support only one Ad Set, and Sprinklr prevents you from adding or duplicating additional Ad Sets.

  • Campaign Budget Optimization (CBO) is mandatory for R/Max campaigns and cannot be disabled. R/Max supports only automated bidding strategies and automatically applies Feed and Conversations placements.
