Configuring Product Selection Dropdown

You can create a custom field that acts as a Product Selection Dropdown, automatically displaying products from your Conversational Commerce product catalog. This dropdown is available across Sprinklr wherever custom fields are supported, allowing users to select and associate products with messages, cases, or when tagging products.
Creating a Product Selection Custom Field
To create a Product Selection custom field, follow these steps:
1. Click the New Page (+) icon to open the Launchpad.
2. Under Platform Settings > Unify, click Custom Fields.

3. Create a new custom field or edit an existing one.
4. In the Field Type dropdown, select Single Select List.
5. Set Asset Types to Product.

6. Under Set Values, configure the following:
Type: Select System.
Source: Select Product (Social).
Values: Choose All Selected to display all products in the environment, or add values individually.
Note: The values in the Product Selection Dropdown are fetched from the Product Catalog under Sprinklr Social.

7. Save the custom field.
Using the Product Selection Dropdown
After the custom field is created, it becomes available across all workflows in Sprinklr where custom fields are supported, for example, in Quick Publisher and the Care Console. When users select this field, the dropdown automatically displays products from the configured Conversational Commerce product catalog, enabling them to associate the correct product with messages, cases, or tagged assets.
