Businesses can connect a Facebook product catalogue to a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) to showcase their products directly within WhatsApp conversations. This integration allows customers to browse items and engage with offerings seamlessly while chatting with the business.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

• Access to the relevant Meta Business Manager

• Access to the WhatsApp Business Account you want to connect

• A product catalogue created in Business Manager

Connect the Catalogue

1. Log in to your Meta Business Manager account using the business credentials.

2. In the left navigation, click WhatsApp accounts.

3. Select the WhatsApp Business Account you want to connect to the catalogue.

4. After selecting the relevant WhatsApp Business Account, navigate to WhatsApp Manager.

WhatsApp Manager provides configuration options for managing features and settings associated with the selected WhatsApp Business Account.

5. Within WhatsApp Manager, locate the Catalogue option in the left pane.

6. Click Choose a Catalogue in the Catalogue window.

Meta displays the catalogues that have been created in the Business Manager.

7. Select the catalogue you want to connect to the WABA.

8. Once selected, the catalogue will be connected to the WhatsApp Business Account.

Manage Connected Catalogue

After the catalogue has been connected, WhatsApp Manager displays the catalogue associated with the WABA. Depending on the available configuration options, you can also manage settings such as:

• Catalogue icon in the native chat header: Choose whether to display the catalogue icon in the WhatsApp chat header.

• Add to basket: Enable or disable the option that allows customers to add products to a basket.

• Disconnect catalogue: Remove the currently connected catalogue from the WABA.

• Manage catalogue: Open the catalogue in Commerce Manager for further management.

Edit Catalogue

If you need to add products, update product information, or make other changes to the catalogue, use the Manage option in WhatsApp Manager. This takes you to Commerce Manager, where you can make the required catalogue updates.
