Lock and Unlock Posts/Comments/Replies on Reddit

You, as a Reddit Moderator can block the option to publish comments or replies by any user. You can enable this option from Engagement Dashboards as well as Rule Engine.

Steps To Lock / Unlock Posts/Comments/Replies by Users on Messages on Reddit

  1. To lock a comment or reply, you're required to create a relevant Reddit Column or worfklow column within the Engagement Dashboards. For more information, see How to Create Reddit Columns.

  2. Once the column is created, you can click the Options icon baseline_more_horiz_black_18dp2.pngfor the message which is part of the conversation you want to lock, and select Lock. When you select Lock for the Reddit column on the Engagement Dashboards, no user can publish replies or comments.

    Note: Posts that are locked natively, i.e., within the Reddit acount, will also be auto-synced in the Sprinklr Platform.

Steps To Lock / Unlock Comments/Replies by Users on Messages on Reddit from Rule Engine

  1. Click the New Tab icon Media preview . Under Governance Console, click Rule Engine within Collaborate.

  2. Under Conditions Applies To The properties of the Message, select Is Locked as the Condition. Select Yes to lock replies and No to unlock replies/comments. Or, Under Actions to Change properties of Message, select Lock Message as the Action.
