Export Activity Audit Reporting

Export Activity Audit Reporting provides visibility into export activity across Care Console. Audit records are generated whenever supported exports are performed, regardless of whether the export succeeds or fails. This helps organizations monitor data access, support compliance requirements, investigate export-related activity, and maintain a centralized audit trail for Care Console exports.
Audit records are captured in the Export Metadata data source and include details such as export identifiers, source information, export format, export type, user and role information, workspace details, timestamps, export status, export links, and permission types.
Supported Care Console Exports
Export Activity Audit Reporting captures audit records for the following Care Console exports:
Case Stream Export
Case Conversation Export
Case Third Pane Conversation Export
Profile Third Pane History Export
Create an Export Activity Audit Report
You can create a report to gain visibility into Care Console export activity and configure widgets to customize how the data is displayed. For detailed instructions on creating and configuring widgets, see the Widget Configuration article.
When configuring the widget:
Set Data Source to Export Metadata.
From What would you like to plot on your widget?, select the supported dimensions.
Supported Dimensions
Dimension | Description |
Export Job ID | Unique identifier for the export. |
Source Name | Source associated with the export. |
Source Type | Dashboard or Widget. |
Format | Export file format, such as CSV, PNG, JSON, or Excel. |
Export Type | Manual or Scheduled. |
Module | Product area from which the export was generated. |
Username | User who initiated the export. |
User Role | Role of the user who initiated the export. |
Workspace | Workspace associated with the export activity. |
Rows Exported | Number of rows included in the export. |
Timestamp | Date and time the export was executed. |
Export Status | Indicates whether the export succeeded or failed. |
Export Link | Reference to the exported file. |
PII Permission Type | Permission level associated with the exported data. |
