Text and Button Template (Alim Talk)
Updated
The Text and Button (AlimTalk) template for KakaoTalk allows businesses to send pre‑approved utility or transactional messages with an interactive button included. This format is ideal for delivering important notifications such as order confirmations, delivery updates, or appointment reminders, while also offering a clear call‑to‑action like adding the brand’s channel as a friend.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure the following conditions are met:
Pre‑approved templates: Only KakaoTalk AlimTalk templates that have been created in the Kakao console and approved by Kakao can be sent to users. The same text, button name, and template code must be replicated in Sprinklr. Any mismatch will cause the message to fail.
Mandatory approval: Template approval is required for all AlimTalk messages, and approvals are submitted via Infobip.
Non‑Friend Messaging: No explicit user consent is required. Template approval alone is sufficient.
Valid phone number: The end user must have a valid Korean phone number linked to a Kakao account.
Create a Text and Button Template
Follow these steps to create a Button List Template in Digital Asset Management:
1. Click the New Page (+) icon to open the Launchpad.
2. Under Platform Modules > Integrate, select Digital Asset Management.

3. In the top‑right corner, click Create Asset.
4. From the drop‑down, select Templates > Omni Chat Templates.

5. In Basic Details, enter the template name and description.
6. In Asset Specific, select the following:
From the Channel drop‑down, select Kakao.
From the Template Type drop‑down, select Text and Button (Alim Talk).

7. In the Text and Button (AlimTalk) section, configure the following:
Field | Description |
Template Code | Enter the unique identifier for the template. This value must exactly match the Kakao‑approved template code. If the code does not match, the message will fail to publish. |
Text | Enter the message text that will be displayed to the customer. The text should clearly communicate the purpose of the message and guide the user toward the available action. |
Button 1 | A single button of type Add Channel is preselected. In the Name field, enter a descriptive label for the button, such as “Follow Us” or “Add Brand.” This button allows the customer to add the channel as a friend. |
9. Configure asset details, properties, and sharing options.
10. Click Save.
The template is now ready to use and can be sent from all publishing avenues in Sprinklr, including the Care Console, bots, rules, and other supported workflows.
