Subreddit Discovery helps you explore and analyze posts within a selected subreddit to uncover active conversations and identify emerging discussion trends. By surfacing what users are currently talking about, it enables you to understand audience interests, track evolving topics, and discover opportunities to engage with relevant and timely content.

Use Cases

• Identify emerging trends: Spot new and growing topics within a subreddit by analyzing ongoing discussions.

• Understand audience interests: Explore what topics, questions, and themes resonate most with the community.

• Discover content opportunities: Find relevant and timely ideas for engagement, campaigns, or social content.

Prerequisites

To access Reddit Discovery, you must have View permissions for Reddit Discovery within Trend Discovery.

Accessing Reddit Discovery

Follow the steps below to access Reddit Discovery:

1. Navigate to Sprinklr Insights and then choose Trend Discovery in the Explorer section within Listen.

2. Navigate to Social Channel page and then select Reddit.

   ​

3. Go to Explore posts within a subreddit section and enter Subreddit Name and click Next.

   ​

   Note: Enter at least 3 characters to explore what's trending within a subreddit.

4. You can explore posts from a selected subreddit using Reddit’s built-in categories to analyze different types of discussions and engagement patterns.

   

   Select a category to refine the post feed:

   1. Hot

   2. New

   3. Rising

   4. Top

   5. Controversial (currently selected)

      This helps you focus on specific conversation types, such as trending discussions, recently published posts, or highly debated topics within the community.

5. Use the Time Range filter available at the top left (below the header) to control the timeframe of posts displayed (for example, posts from the past week).

   

6. Click the Filter icon in the top-right corner to apply additional filters and further refine the results.

   

Once you click on any of the post you will be re-directed natively. If a post includes videos or images, you will have the option to view the original post in its native format.

You will also find the search history for the past posts.
