Profile List Change
Updated
Profile list change refers to the ability to add or remove profiles from a profile list through workflow execution, based on defined conditions such as survey responses, transaction data, or profile attributes. This enables profile lists to be updated dynamically and in real time, ensuring that audience segmentation reflects the latest data without manual intervention or reliance on the Rule Engine.
Business Use Cases
Adding customers to churn‑risk or promoter lists when survey responses meet defined criteria.
Segmenting customers in real time based on transaction attributes or custom profile fields.
Capturing all profiles created through Salesforce Workflows into a dedicated profile list for visibility and downstream actions.
Supported Workflows
The Profile List Change node is available across the following workflow types:
Transaction Event Workflow: Uses the profile associated with the transaction.
Salesforce Workflow: Profiles are not implicit and must be selected explicitly.
Response Event Workflow: Uses the profile linked to the response that triggered the workflow.
Audience Profile Workflow: Uses the profile on which the workflow is running.
Zendesk Event: Uses profiles associates with Zendesk workflow.
Note: For Transaction Event Workflow, Response Event Workflow and Audience Profile Workflow, the system automatically operates on the workflow’s base profile.
