Configure Macro Tool in Agent Copilot

The Macro Tool allows you to execute predefined Sprinklr Macros within an Agent Copilot workflow. Macros help automate a sequence of actions or apply custom rules, enabling agents to complete tasks faster and with greater consistency.
Use the Macro Tool when you want your Agent Copilot to trigger actions such as tagging conversations, updating fields, routing cases, or applying business rules during an interaction.
Access the Macro Tool
To add and configure the Macro Tool:
Open Sprinklr Launchpad.
Navigate to Agent Copilot.
Select the Agent Copilot you want to configure.
Expand Define Tasks and Tools.
Select Tools.
Click + Add Tool.
From the list, select Macro Tool.
The Macro Tool configuration panel opens.
The Macro Tool configuration screen is divided into two main sections:

Setup Function
Each section is required to successfully configure and use the tool.
Configure Macro Tool Details
In this section, you define basic information about the Macro Tool so it can be easily identified and understood by other users.
Name: Enter a unique and descriptive name for the Macro Tool. This name is used to identify the tool within the Agent Copilot workflow.
Tip: Use action-oriented names to clearly indicate what the macro does.
Description: Provide a short description explaining the purpose of the Macro Tool. This helps other administrators and collaborators understand when and why to use the tool.
Configure Setup Function
The Setup Function section defines which Sprinklr Macros the Agent Copilot can execute.
Macros: Select one or more macros from the Select Macros dropdown. The list displays all macros available in your Sprinklr environment. You can select multiple macros if required.
Note: Ensure that the macros you select are already created, published, and tested in Sprinklr. Only available macros appear in the dropdown list.
Save the Configuration
After completing all required fields:
Review the selected macros and tool details.
Save the configuration.
The Macro Tool is now available for use within the Agent Copilot workflow and can be invoked based on the defined task logic.
Once configured, the Macro Tool enables Agent Copilot to automatically execute Sprinklr Macros during conversations, reducing manual effort, improving consistency, and ensuring that business rules are applied accurately and efficiently.
