Contentful Integration: Overview

With Contentful added as a new channel type within Sprinklr, you can use it to create and publish messages. Once your Contentful account is authorized to be used within Sprinklr, you can filter the available accounts with Contentful as the filter value and perform additional actions such as View Details, Edit, View Activity, and Deactivate accounts.

After adding and authenticating your Contentful account, you will be able to:
Create Posts and Message ideas.
View and access Contentful as a new value in Filters, Group-By, Sort, and Search for Outbound Messages in Reporting (Outbound Message, Social Analytics), Production Dashboard (Message, Task, Request tabs), and Editorial Calendar.
View and access Contentful as a new value in the Account Type column for Outbound Messages in Production Dashboards (message, task, request tabs), and Editorial Calendar list view.
View and access Contentful as a new value in the Account Type and Account condition & actions while creating a draft, draft update, outbound, pre-publishing, post-publishing, and autofill rules.
View and access Contentful as a new value in Account Type and Account while creating workflows for outbound messages.
As of 18.11, you can also access the version history of posts published on Contentful through Sprinklr. You can compare different versions, make changes or restore an older version of the post.
Enablement Note: Please work with your Success Manager to get Contentful enabled for your environment.
Editing and Deleting Posts
With Contentful enabled as a channel type within Sprinklr, you can Edit and Delete posts created and sent via an Contentful account. With the Edit and Delete permissions enabled for the posts created and sent via this channel type, you can do the following:
Edit Permission: You will be able to edit published messages. On publishing the updated message, you can view an Updated Version Count.
Delete Permission: You will be able to unpublish the sent messages and they will come back to the draft state in Sprinklr and is unpublished/deleted from the message queue.
