Disabling Comments

Disabling comments helps keep your brand’s post feeds free from spam and inappropriate content. Below are the steps to disable comments on Instagram:

Steps to Disable Comments

1. Go to Engagement Dashboards and either create a new Instagram dashboard or use an existing one.

2. Select a Media column in your existing dashboard, or add a Media column to your new dashboard. For easier identification, you can name it Instagram Comments.

3. In the Instagram comment column, choose the post or comment you want to manage, then open the Options (...) menu at the bottom to access the Channel action - Disable Comment.

4. Click Disable Comments to disable the selected comment.

   

5. To enable comments, click the same button, which will now read ‘Enable Comments.’ This button functions as a toggle, allowing you to switch between enabling and disabling comments.
