SES (Sprinklr Domain) Account Usage and Limitations Across Environments
Updated
SES (Simple Email Service) accounts are environment-specific. You can use an SES account in only one environment at a time within a customer setup. It cannot run simultaneously across multiple environments such as Development, Staging, and Production.
Environment Limitations
- An SES account can be active in only one environment at a time.
- If you configure the account in Development or Staging, it will not work in Production until you remove or disable it from the current environment.
- This restriction helps ensure controlled usage and prevents configuration conflicts.
Move an SES Account to Production
To use an existing SES account in Production after go-live:
- Identify the active environment
Check whether the SES account is currently configured in Development or Staging. - Disable the existing configuration
Remove or disable the SES account from the active environment. - Configure the account in Production
Set up the same SES account in the Production environment.
The SES account starts working in Production only after you disable it in the previous environment.
Example
If your organization has both Dev and Production environments, and the SES account customer@organization.sprinklrsupport.com is configured in Development environment, you must first disable or remove it from Development. You can then configure and use it in Production.
