Sprinklr Social: 26.4 Release Notes
Updated
Sprinklr Social is a powerful platform for scaling social media efforts. It offers tools for publishing, engagement, reporting, and more across multiple channels. This release introduces new capabilities designed to elevate customer experiences at every touchpoint, delivering strong business impact.
Advocacy
The following features are introduced in Advocacy for improved experience and efficiency:
Frictionless Advocate Onboarding
We’ve introduced a new Screener experience to make advocate onboarding faster and more seamless. With this enhancement, only essential mandatory questions are shown to users during signup, while any information already available via SSO or SFTP is automatically recognized and skipped. This significantly reduces onboarding friction and helps organizations activate advocates at scale. Optional profile information can be completed later without interrupting the onboarding flow. The result is a smoother signup experience and faster program adoption across large communities. For more details, please refer to Automatically Revoke and Reinstate Users via SFTP and Pre‑Provision Users via SFTP.
Improved User Management via Advocacy SFTP Sync
Sprinklr Advocacy SFTP user sync now supports enhanced user lifecycle management. Organizations can automatically create users in a Screener Pending state when they appear in SFTP but have not yet logged in, and automatically revoke users who are missing from the latest SFTP file. If a revoked user reappears in a future upload, their access can be reinstated automatically, helping customers manage Advocacy users directly through their SFTP data source. For more details, please refer to Automatically Revoke and Reinstate Users via SFTP and Pre‑Provision Users via SFTP.
Introduction of Digital Assistant in Advocacy platform
We are excited to introduce the Digital Assistant (also known as AI Assistant), a feature that helps end users get instant guidance while using the advocacy platform. When enabled, the AI Assistant appears under the Need Help? option on the platform interface. Users can select this option to start a conversation with the AI Assistant and receive support with questions related to the advocacy platform. For more details, please refer to Digital Assistant for the Advocacy Platform.
Track Advocacy Post Engagement from Email Newsletters
Sprinklr Advocacy now tracks engagement when users access posts via email newsletters. Actions such as Post Visit, Like, Comment, Unlike, Delete Comment, Share, Bookmark, Unbookmark, and Report Flag will be recorded. A new Email source is added under Referred By. This enhancement applies only to new activity; no historical backfill is included. For more details, please refer to Advocacy Reporting Metrics and Dimensions.
Daily Share Limits for LinkedIn and X in Advocacy
Admins can now set daily share limits for advocates on LinkedIn and X (erstwhile Twitter). This helps prevent oversharing and ensures brand content is shared responsibly. Limits are applied per connected social account and enforced when advocates attempt to share or schedule posts. If the daily limit is reached, the share will fail and users will see an error message with suggested future dates to schedule the post. This enforcement works across Web, Mobile, Native Publisher, and integrations.
Stop Auto Approval Rules for Social Authentication Type
The Advocacy platform supports SSO, Social Login, and Email Login. Users typically complete a screener form and go through admin approval, though some clients enable auto-approval for faster access. SSO restricts access to authorized employees or contractors, while email login can use domain validation.
With this update, social logins (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter) are excluded from auto-approval rules. This ensures users logging in via social accounts are not automatically approved, improving access control even if the platform link is shared. To configure this, go to auto-approval rules, select Properties of the Community User, and choose Login Type → SSO or Email. For added security, it is recommended not to select Social as the login type. For more details, please refer to Approve/ Reject Users in Advocacy.
Distributed
The following features are introduced in Distributed for improved experience and efficiency:
LinkedIn API Transition for Distributed with FinServ and Non-FinServ Segmentation
With this release, Sprinklr introduces differentiated platform capabilities for Financial Services (FinServ) and Non-Financial Services (Non-FinServ) customers in Distributed environments. FinServ clients will move to a Dual API Model, combining LinkedIn Compliance APIs and Marketing APIs to maintain regulatory compliance while enabling enhanced LinkedIn capabilities. Non-FinServ clients will migrate directly to LinkedIn Marketing APIs, unlocking expanded publishing and reporting capabilities.
The migration will take place in two phases: Soft Migration and Hard Migration. During Soft Migration, existing accounts can continue operating while new or re-added accounts must use the new authentication flow; during Hard Migration, any accounts not re-authenticated will be deactivated. Moving forward, newly onboarded clients will be automatically categorized as FinServ or Non-FinServ, ensuring the appropriate platform capabilities and controls are applied. For more details, please refer to LinkedIn API Migration.
Engagement
The following features are introduced in Engagement for improved experience and efficiency:
Enhanced Reddit Reporting with Subreddit Rule-Based Reasons and Audit Insights
When agents report a Reddit post or comment from Sprinklr, they will now have an option to choose a clear reason from the subreddit’s own rules. These report reasons, along with who reported the content and when, are captured in your reporting dashboards. This gives moderators and compliance teams better context to review reported items, prioritize followups, and audit decisions over time.
Improved Engagement Columns with Short Message Previews and Full Message Popup
Long emails, forum posts, and other rich-text messages in Engagement columns will now show only a short, plain-text preview, so agents don’t need to scroll through the full content in the grid. A new View full message action opens the complete, formatted message in a popup, where agents can see all rich text, links, media, and mentions. This keeps columns compact and easy to scan, while still allowing agents to access full message details when needed. For more details, please refer to Enhanced Message Preview in Engagement Columns.
New Feature Settings Page for Managing Dynamic Property-Based Configurations
We are introducing the Feature Settings Page, a centralized interface where administrators can view, search, and manage feature-level settings that were previously controlled through Dynamic Properties (DPs). This enhancement allows organizations to configure common feature settings directly from the UI, reducing dependency on Sprinklr support team. Administrators can now enable, disable, or modify settings more quickly through a unified configuration page under All Settings → Platform Settings → Feature Settings. For more details, please refer to Feature Settings Page for Managing Dynamic Properties.
Note: The page follows role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure only authorized users can view or modify DP settings.
Reddit Locked Post Indicator in Engagement Columns
With this release, Sprinklr now displays a clear visual indicator in the engagement columns when a Reddit post or comment has been locked. This helps agents and moderation teams avoid attempting replies or actions on locked threads, reducing failed actions and improving workflow efficiency. Additionally, posts that are locked natively in Reddit will now be automatically synced in Sprinklr, ensuring real-time visibility and smarter, compliance-driven engagement. For more details, please refer to Lock and Unlock Posts/Comments on Reddit.
Publishing
The following features are introduced in Publishing for improved experience and efficiency:
TikTok Music Library Support for Photo and Video Posts in Sprinklr – TVD
Users can now access TikTok’s Music Library (Commercial Music Library, CML) to safely add licensed music to videos or photos in Sprinklr Quick Publish, either via the Media section or Full Screen Publisher, without copyright concerns. Key capabilities include:
Configure track properties such as duration, start time, volume, country, and genre.
Clip or drag the selected song to choose the exact segment for your video or photo post.
Video/audio behavior: If the video is longer than the song, the audio will play fully and stop—it will not loop automatically.
Play and pause controls allow precise previewing of the video with the chosen audio.

to TikTok Business - Sprinklr Space and TikTok Business Capabilities and Limitations.
Sprinklr Social Pilot: Enhanced Reporting, Copilot Widgets, and AI Support
This release significantly expands social reporting capabilities and enhances the Copilot experience for Sprinklr users, making insights faster, smarter, and more accessible.
1. Natural Language Widget Creation
Users can now create social reporting widgets directly from natural language queries in the Copilot chat interface.
Previously, creating new widgets required manually plotting and selecting metrics. Now, users can generate, view, and add charts instantly without leaving the chat interface.
2. Keyword-Based Reporting Queries
Copilot now supports keyword-focused reporting for social posts.
This enhancement allows for granular monitoring of posts mentioning specific brands or products, as well as campaign-specific performance.
3. Expanded AI Model Support
Copilot now supports multiple AI models for generating insights, including OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, and Gemini.
To switch models or request a non-OpenAI model, partners can submit a support ticket at tickets@sprinklr.com.
4. Improved Workflow Efficiency
Dashboard widgets can now be created and updated without manual intervention, reducing time and dependence on support teams.
Users can view performance metrics and insights and add them to dashboards with a single click directly within the Copilot chat, speeding up decision-making.
Minor follow-up queries within the chat help refine and customize charts for immediate use.
For more details, please refer to Social Copilot.

Disable Comments for Instagram Posts in Quick Publish
With this release, Sprinklr introduces the ability to disable comments for Instagram posts directly from the platform, helping teams maintain better governance and native parity with Instagram capabilities. Users can now select Disable Comments checkbox in Quick Publish (QP) for Post, Reel, and Carousel Instagram templates (default state: unchecked). Additionally, for each published Instagram post in your Instagram dashboard, the Disable Comments option is available as a Channel action under the post’s Options menu. For more details, please refer to Disable Instagram Comments.
LinkedIn Alt Text Now Generally Available to Eligible Partners
LinkedIn’s alt text feature, previously controlled by the dynamic property LINKEDIN_ALT_TEXT_ENABLED, is now fully generally available for all eligible partners, excluding those on opt-out or exclusion lists. This update aligns LinkedIn with other supported social channels, providing consistent accessibility support across platforms. The LinkedIn-specific dynamic property has been deprecated, eliminating reliance on channel-specific feature flags and simplifying alt text usage for all LinkedIn posts. For more details, please refer to Adding Alt Text to Images while Publishing.
Segregation of X Reply and Repost Permissions for Social Media Roles
Previously, on X (erstwhile Twitter), the same user performing publishing and community management tasks had a single Reply permission, allowing both publishing managers and community managers to reply to posts and retweet content. This could lead to workflow inconsistencies.
With this update:
The Retweet and Reply permissions have been separated, with Retweet now referred to as Repost.
The Reply permission controls the ability to respond to comments, direct messages, and other engagements.
The Repost (Retweet) permission allows users to reshare or retweet content.
Note: Editable retweets are classified as reposts, not replies.
For more details, please refer to Create A Column For Retweets.
Reporting
The following features are introduced in Reporting for improved experience and efficiency:
Instagram Cross-Posted Views Reporting Enhancements
Sprinklr has introduced new reporting capabilities for Instagram posts that are cross-posted to Facebook. Previously, reporting captured only Instagram views for such posts. With this update, two new metrics - Cross Posted Views and Facebook Views - are now available to provide a more complete view of performance. Cross Posted Views represents the combined view count from both Instagram and Facebook, while Facebook Views captures views generated specifically on Facebook for the cross-posted content. Additionally, a new dimension “Is Cross Posted” has been added to indicate whether an Instagram post has been shared to Facebook. These enhancements help users better analyze the overall reach and performance of cross-posted content across both platforms.
For more details, please refer to Instagram Post Insights.
TikTok Reporting Enhancements with New Engagement and Audience Metrics
We’ve expanded TikTok analytics with new performance and audience insights.
The following new metrics are now available:
TikTok Video Saves
TikTok Video Website Clicks
TikTok Video Lead Submissions
TikTok Video App Download Clicks
TikTok Video Audience Retention Over Time

TikTok Video Engagement Likes Percentage Over Time
Additionally, two new dimensions have been added:

These additions provide deeper visibility into audience behavior, conversions, and engagement trends across TikTok content.
