Document Center

Updated

Overview

Document Center is a centralized knowledge repository within Marketing Agent (Social Media Agent) where you can upload, manage, organize, and maintain brand-owned strategic and operational marketing documents.

The Document Center supports the Marketing Agent Context Layer by:

  • Ingesting brand-owned documents.

  • Managing document status, versions, and brand associations.

  • Retrieving relevant document context during agent interactions.

Marketing Agent uses these documents as persistent knowledge for AI marketing agents, helping them create content that aligns with brand strategy, governance requirements, accessibility standards, compliance rules, and channel-specific best practices.

You can upload brand-owned documents that Marketing Agent can use while generating ideas, content, and recommendations, such as:

  • Social media strategy documents

  • Accessibility guidelines

  • Channel-specific best practices

  • Approved hashtags

  • Content governance policies

  • Legal and compliance guidance

  • Audience personas

  • Messaging frameworks

  • Creative best practices

Ideation Agent, Content Creation Agent, and future planning, strategy, optimisation, and governance agents can use the uploaded documents as context.

Note: Marketing Agent is currently in the Limited Accessibility (LA) phase. If you are interested in gaining access, please contact your Success Manager. Alternatively, you can submit a request at tickets@sprinklr.com.

Document Center supports the following file formats:

Document Ingestion and Status

After you upload a document, the system ingests and indexes it before the Marketing Agent can use it.

During ingestion, the document remains inactive and unavailable for retrieval. After sync completes successfully, the system activates the document and makes it available for AI retrieval.

How Marketing Agent uses documents

Once a document becomes active, Marketing Agent can retrieve document-specific knowledge from uploaded and indexed documents.

For example:

  • Ideation Agent retrieves relevant strategy documents, audience personas, channel best practices, and compliance guidance associated with the selected brand.

  • Content Creation Agent retrieves creative guidelines, messaging frameworks, accessibility requirements, and approved hashtags to generate more brand-aligned content.

Marketing Agent retrieves and applies document context through the following process:

  1. Analyses the user prompt.

  2. Searches indexed knowledge associated with the relevant brand.

  3. Selects the most relevant document sections.

  4. Injects the retrieved context into the agent prompt.

  5. Generates an output informed by the uploaded documentation.

Use cases

Document Center enables a wide variety of marketing workflows, including:

  • Brand-aligned ideation: Generate content ideas based on brand strategy, audience personas, messaging frameworks, and channel guidance.

  • Content governance: Apply governance policies, compliance guidance, and accessibility requirements during content generation.

  • Channel-specific recommendations: Use channel-specific best practices to improve social media recommendations.

  • Creative consistency: Reference approved creative guidelines, brand messaging documents, and content standards while generating content.

  • Multi-brand knowledge management: Maintain separate document repositories for different brands and ensure Marketing Agent retrieves context from the appropriate brand.

  • Reduced manual context sharing: Avoid entering the same strategic guidance, compliance requirements, and brand information in every conversation.
